Hi, I'm Carmen Palermo and this is my professional storm chasing channel. I received my Masters in Advertising from the University of Alabama (2022-2023). When I was an undergraduate at Ball State University I studied communications and broadcast meteorology (2016-2020).
I will post storm chasing content on this page. As a graduate student and having a full-time sports broadcasting job, I only get to chase a few times a year, but I will try my best to post content. I will also post other content like nature videos and other cool stuff, since severe weather (and tornadoes) don't occur every week of the year.

This large supercell impacted areas in northern and northeastern Louisville on the afternoon of September 24th. This siren is located in Greensboro Indiana, a small city in Henry County. The sirens are tested every Friday at noon

Hurricane Milton made landfall last night just south of Tampa Bay. While a northern track would have caused more devastation to the area, Tampa was still hit with 110+ mile per hour gusts and significant storm surge

Looking at high in the north east I think it will go a little south of predictions
@@BernardBouchard-qq9kq the Official NHC track rn appears to be just south of Tampa Bay. It’s goin to be a very close pass. The difference in 25-50 miles will determine how intense the storm surge could be

Hurricane Milton has intensified into a category 5 storm again this afternoon with a peak low pressure reading of 902mb around 5pm. Milton is expected to impact the Tampa Bay region tomorrow anytime between 7pm and 2am Thursday

This is one of four remaining FS Thunderbolt tornado sirens in central Indiana. It is located in Muncie, IN and is tested every Friday at 11:00am
Why do you make video stuff? The most scariest sirens that sounds like siren head
We get those all the time in Vermont. It is not a tornado trying to form

@@WarningSirensOfCNY after doing some research I could only find four thunderbolts in central Indiana. One is broken in New Castle, One was completely refurbished in Mooreland IN and is working great. The last two are in Muncie, IN (including this one). Apparently the other thunderbolt in Muncie has a higher pitch and has the capability to do hi-low so I may need to go check that one out next week
@@CarmenPalermoStorms I think there are only 5 in NY and 3 of them are active, 2 on Long Island and 1 near Rochester
