I like Bicol Express, but I can't cook it in my apartment because of the shrimp paste. The neighbors will complain, and my place will stink for a couple of days even if I use airfreshener. So I just go to a restaurant and eat it there. 😂

In Hawaii we have one island that can have snow on one summit and you can go ocean side and surf …but if it’s snow then our other islands will be cooler too and for us cold is 60-70 degrees 😂 I love veggie spring rolls because I’m vegetarian but I have to watch how much deep fried stuff I eat because I don’t feel too good afterwards …so by limiting how much I eat, I actually enjoy it even more. When I had serious health problems at a younger age, I changed how I ate and it worked. The first thing I gave up was pork and they even use that in food coloring in the US. So even chips that had that …I stopped eating. 😢 congrats🎉 on monetization!!!

Hello Riya i will be praying for you hope everything goes well i love spring rolls ive had Vietnamese, Chinese, Laotian, and Filipino lumpia but for the lumpia had had to go to another state cause they're are no Filipino restaurant where i live its only about an hour and a half to go to Chicago i live in Wisconsin today was a very cold day here where i live in the morning it was 2 degrees so cold 🥶 take care Riya stay safe and warm God bless you my friend ❤😊

Day started great. Its only 29 degrees here. Its a treat for us in Louisiana 😂. Ice was all over the houses. Its suppose to get into the high 70 😢 for the next few days. I love to window shop too and look for sales. Not finally many sales anymore here though. Your going to have to think long and hard about moving into another apartment on your own. Talk to Cherry about it. See how much she pays for everything. Privacy is a big plus though. Your food looked good. We have spring rolls here but unless you make them yourself they are teeny tiny and only have a little bit of pork and veggies. Sometimes you find them in Chinese or Japanese restaurants and its like they forget to even put fillings in. I make then at home when we get hungry for them lol. Stay warm young Lady!! Be Blessed

Can’t you ask Jojo for some of his vegetables from his garden?

I’m shocked at the fluctuations in prices of vegetables - obviously understandable re seasons but must be very expensive to try and stay healthy! Can you buy Tamarind Paste or blocks in Japan? The latter comes with seeds so you have to soak in hot water before squeezing out and discarding seeds - just thought maybe another way to add sourness instead of fresh tomatoes and precious Mix from Philippines! I think it’s great how you manage to cook and do your Bento box for the next day after hard working day. I haven’t seen your black dress but I think that ‘Chanel’ type jacket would have been great! Sometimes, you have to treat yourself but applaud your restraint and frugality! Thrift shops look very good over there!
