The Great Pretenders (Trailer)
The Great Pretenders explores the vibrant and increasingly popular tribute band scene in Ireland from the perspective of the musicians and their fans as they try to replicate the sound and the look of music legends. While some of these tribute bands have made music their full-time commitment, others do it for fun and for the thrill of being on stage in front of a live audience.

Malaga Weekend
Переглядів 5653 місяці тому
Last week I took a few days out to chill and visit one of my favourite cities in Spain. So much colour, culture, tradition and superb weather(even in October). Most air travellers use Malaga as a stop to go to the costa but forget to visit the city. One morning I bumped into Felippo from Sicily. His whisling rang out so beautifully from a tunnel. For you nerds, 90% of this was shot on a phone a...
Five must see locations in southern California
Переглядів 2052 роки тому
The five best locations to see in southern California.16 days of great fun. If you're looking for some great photographic and video opportunities, check these out. I should add that this trip also had a little detour to Las Vegas. How could one drive a car around southern California and not take in Vegas. It's just over the state line. We arrived in Los Angeles on 19th December, hired a car and...
Florence revisited. Calcio Storico 2022

I returned to Florence two weeks ago to catch up with some old friends I hadn't seen since I made my documentary 'Quattro Colori' in 2019. Calcio Storico is one of the planets greatest extravaganzas. donalmoloney.com/ ua-cam.com/video/O0eJjHXGpaA/v-deo.html (Full Film) ua-cam.com/video/HnDk3SgOcfk/v-deo.html (Trailer)

Berlin, Hauptbahnhof, Central Train Station
Переглядів 593 роки тому
There’s something wonderful about train stations. I often visit one if I’m out foreign. They’re fantastic places for people watching. I was in Germany a few weeks back and had an itchy trigger finger as I had been cooked up in a room all week in Potsdam. Friday was my day off, so I hopped on a train to Berlin which is about a 30 minute ride. The weather wasn’t good and I never left the station....
Rollers
Переглядів 3,6 тис.4 роки тому
Are you craving a hug? A couple of years back I come up with a notion to document a few interviews with some older ladies who still enjoy the weekly ritual of having their hair put in rollers. There’s something wonderfully decadent about it but sadly it’s on the wane. I had a few hairdressers earmarked around Dublin. My first port of call was one in Fairview to test the water. For various work ...

I used to frequent this place a lot when I was a teenager. It wasn't for it's colorful beauty though. Many pretty girls used to visit also. Last Monday I took myself for a trip down memory lane. Growing up ain’t so bad. donalmoloney.com/ DonalMoloneyPhotography/

Grilled fish at a Chringuito, olive oil, gelato, brandy de Jerez, tinto de Verano. Also, the best nightwalks of any place I can think of. Saying hello to the 'Castle Cats' at Alcazaba See you next spring Malaga I've got a routine there

I had a delivery in Ballymun in Lorry 45ft job handball lockers of young boys gethere around amazed at the lorry. They gave me a hand to carry the locker of and in to building. I had cases of mineral in cab of lorry I got in coke cacola factory on the nass Rd Dublin the previous Day I gave the lads 2 cases for helping me and £10 punts. The year was 96 great summers Day. Them lads where great cubs. They had manners I hope they all got on well cos I often think of them wee boys.
Place from hell ruined my life - too much went on these you could never feel you could ever speak out about
Anyone else watch this in English class
Groucho and his dad aren't singing
Proud of the support. Boooooooo🤣the FA (Prince Willy is their President) and the entire system; the government, the media the lot, tried to frame liverpool supporters for Hillsborough. 25 years to get mediocre justice; the culprits still walk free. Y.N.W.A 🔥JF87🔥
love it, I want to be getting out and taking more photo landscapes around the country
Loved that Donal. You have not changed a bit buddy. If you ever fancy exploring Mayo/Galway, give me a shout. i'd enjoy getting together for some photography and videography. Keep up the great work! JJ
Thanks Jim
Looks like hell on earth

God love ya Martin very little different between me and you only when I lost my job I had family alive. Der is great people and scholars around Dublin who just happened to fall on hard times. Fair play to this photographer you define us as humans and Dubs I hope the spirit of you inspires others❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
Love it up there it’s so peaceful I actually posted a 30sec clip on my channel just the other day 👍🏻 new subscriber here you’re videos are great
Nice video man 👍🏻👌🏻
I cryed with happyness myself.God bless all that has helped martin.
Of all the people I would like to meet, Martin is # 1. He is so peaceful, wise, humble, kind. Just to be in his presence would be an honor. He teaches through humility and dignity. Pure gold - that is Martin's true nature.
I still get choked up, thinking about this absolutely precious soul. Martin makes me a better human being and my guess is that countless people feel the same way. Big hug to you, Martin. And you're pretty wonderful yourself, Donal.
I lived in ballymun ballbutcher lane 106
So happy for Martin
oh cool
Martin is one of the richest people in the world. Just listen to what makes him happy.
How’s he doing @Donal
People look at him like he his crazy but ye yet I feel is the most sane out of us all
I've noticed quite a number of homeless men in Dublin tend to have British accents, quite often well-spoken English public school accents with the older gents (there was a UA-cam video of someone interviewing a very posh accented Englishman on Dublin's streets, but I cannot find it). I wonder if they were men who want to find themselves in Ireland, a different country but ended up homeless. Or perhaps they feel more anonymous away from their country of origin, or that Irish hospitality (giving money, sandwiches and tea) means that the consider Dublin home.
Glad i left ballymun born and raised in the flats some good laughs but the place is poison took years to change me accent now i pretend i only passed through the place once or twice 😄
Shame on you
🥊🥊🥊🥊🐍🐍🐍 probably a posh fuck who'd deny that you were born there,💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩👁️👁️👁️🤜🤛👀👁️👎🖕🖕🖕🖕🎇♌⚔️⚔️
Ballymun didn't have an accent ,Dublin has, people like you gave Ballymun a bad name by your comment. It wasn't poison ,and pity you never lived there at all
Good to see Michael in a safe environment and the Flat looks Brilliant. Well done Donal and all the other people that helped him
Ich habe heute das Glück in mir gesucht, nun habe ich es in dir gefunden... Alle Gute für dich, Martin
Ballymun was an awesome place to live , I grew up there and I still love the place. Hate seeing videos like these, gives a bad picture of ballymun, when really it was the opposite with a great community and really nice people
Bang on my friend 👍
The video is the reality .not showing anything in a bad light
Goodman lad Ballymun folk were great people. There spirit was never broken. ✊
Thank you for this fine video ! Ballymun flats <3
what a great video, well done Donal
Darren Mcdermott Thanks Darren
He comes across as an intelligent individual. Well spoken and most likely came from a decent background. He has family I've no doubt" he's just keeping his cards close to his chest. Trust is what you need to build before he opens up.. 🙏💯
You didn’t even go up lol
