Please excuse the sloppy code! It needs new rubber feet and I just got it in the post so getting used to it. In my opinion this key well out performs my 1919 Vibroplex (in the background). The vibroplex is great but this is way easier to use and has better speeds options.
Maybe if you set it on frequency
902's sound like silk
Just got one of these bugs, bit harder to use than a paddle. Your sending sounds good.

Suprised me how well it sounded, and how controlled the dits seemed to be. it didnt sound as rushed as some bugs ive heard. Maybe one day if I can afford one hee hee

Always fancied a 902DM around when I was licensed in the late 70s, although I think it was a year or so after WARC-79 when the 902 came out. Didn't have the cash though. Being a VFO/crystal LO design I reckon it should have good enough phase noise to give the DX10 a run for its money.
It’s a great rig for sure. In reality the dx10 well outperforms it on CW when you mess around with the filters but on SSB not much difference at all.

Hi, I have one similar, in better state I would say. It is dusty so I am going to clean up with soapy water and a brush. The pain is crackled, less than yours but it need to be paint again. What do you use to sand the Bug and what kind of paint did you use ? thanks
Hello, I don’t sand it, I just have it a good clean and then 4 coats of PRO-COTE industrial black spray paint. The paint was a good match for the original I think. 73 Lee

I was giving one of these keys by an amateur friend a while ago. I have never used a bug or paddle so really need to get it in working order. 73 de G0LQP

@@lotowner7240 220 nF capacitor across the bug connectors and another 100 nF capacitor inside the keyer jack.
