Welcome to my prospecting channel!
My name is Kevin and on this channel I'll share with you my prospecting adventures and struggles. I will aim to give my perspective for my approach toward prospecting, and explain the things that work as I hunt down the best gold and crystal deposits. Subscribe to witness the growth of my channel first hand. Just like prospecting; filming and editing is a constant process of learning through repetition.

Sluicing for GOLD on a Private Mining Claim
In this video, I go looking for gold at my Federal Mining Claim in southern Oregon. Nestled and forgotten deep in the woods of Douglas county. This claim hasn't seen prospectors since the 1920s. Now I have a chance to unearth ancient gold the men before me missed. Follow along while I run decomposing bedrock through my sluice box.

Sluicing downstream from a GOLD mine part 2
Переглядів 9 тис.Місяць тому
In this video (part 2), I venture into a remote location and sink my shovel into ancient gravels to find gold the "old timers" missed. Upon further assay of the first two trips, I've decided to come back on this third time with more daylight, lighter equipment, and one goal in mind, move even more dirt. This is part 2 of 2 videos I will be publishing on this location, subscribe for more videos ...

Very beautiful out there very nice gold the flake is super awesome
Do you know how hard it is to shovel gold wants to go to the bottom much better to dig on dry ground. Mother nature makes the best riffles. Get in the creek start throwing and raking the rock out keep it narrow so all the light stuff washes away Scooch up and down with your feet letting the light material go away the gold go to the bottom and concentrate in the lighter materials wash away. Then you will have concentrates and can process 1000 times more material. You’re welcome have fun. Learn to snipe . Stay light cover ground come back after you find spots with the right equipment.
It’s better with no background music.
Great job getting that Au fam. Keep at it. Gold Squad Out 🤠
BLUE LEAD in the BUCKET!
You were correct saying its a beautiful area and its very calming and satisfying sluicing gold
Oh ya, and what's the best sluice to buy. So I don't loose any gold. If there is any.
As far as sluices go, no sluice will have a 100% capture rate. Depending on the size, shape, and texture of your gold, you could use anything from V-mat and miners moss under expanded steel, gold hog matting, sawtooth matting, or even the dream mat that i use. Given that all of those are designed to catch gold, they will all work to some degree.
@OneManMining ok bro, thanks for the intel. I am in the northeast. So probably placer gold, flour gold, maybe pickers. Which sluice and mat do u recommend. I want to get the right1 for my area the 1st x
You know Id say I am biased towards sluices as I tend to only use the Dream matting from Prospectors Dream, it will catch fine placer gold pretty well and the clean up is super easy
@@OneManMining which dream mat do you think would be best for my area. I still haven't bought the sluice yet. I want tonget the right 1 the 1st x around. Also, what sluice should I get? 24, 36, 42 inch long? And how wide is good? At the top of the sluice, does this joint you mentioned have a river sluice with the 4 inches of black Hungarian rifles at the top. Any intel would be great! Thanks again.
I don't need the location, but what state atleast. My new hobby and I live in the northeast. Want to know what to look for when I go
Theres not a ton of gold in the NE portion of the United States, but that doesnt mean there isnt any! Basically look for bedrock, large boulders and make sure you are in an area where gold has been found before! Gold needs friction in order to drop out of suspension, so areas with sudden bends, or with sharp bedrock crevices are good places to start. There are many other UA-cam channels that can teach you about where and how to look for gold. Chris Ralph, Dan Hurd, Vo-gus prospect, are all good channels to start learning from 👍🏼
@OneManMining ok brother, thanks for all the good intel! I really appreciate it. Thank you and good luck!
Beautiful place nice gold
Thank you, its one of the prettiest spots I know of. Hopefully I'll be going back in the summer to do some sniping.
That’s a beauty 😅
@@SCPadventures1776 i was very happy to find that one for sure

Locate the most concentrations of gold by learning how to apply physics in dowsing for sought elements. In the 1970's my father and I reverse engineered the physics involved in dowsing, which are the same physics that energizes the alarm on electronic metal detectors. Then we invented the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod for using physics in locating our old core-drill on the exact center of gold and silver veins that are buried under 200 feet of glacier rock and till, which worked out perfectly for us. I wrote the book to teach the world how to apply physics in dowsing for sought elements. My book: The Art of Dowsing - Separating Science from Superstition ($14.95), by Michael Fercik, explains all the physics involved in dowsing and teaches how to build the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod, which is the only dowsing rod that accurately gauges the element that is being dowsed by pitting the energy of gravity against the energizing of the pure one-tenth ounce dowsing rod load that is tapped onto the ELEVATED acetylene welding rod at five inches from the hub's shaft that is fee spinning on ball bearings. This precisely gauges the dowsing of all edges, exact center, depth buried with angle of deposition, and most important is grading or deciphering the amount of thew dowsed element that is contained in the elemental mass that is being dowsed. Anybody can become a professional dowser by practicing and mastering the dowsing lessons taught in my book. I hope dowsing enriches your life intellectually and financially.

Thanks for the video..very well done and nice amount of gold👏👏
Appreciate you watching!
That’s so cool!!
you're so cool!
Do you put the heavy rock back or leave it were it is? I noticed on other programs they don't bury the holes they dig.
I did reclamate this location after working it! I like to start with the largest boulders then use smaller rocks to fill in the gaps and top it off with some nice overburden
Our constant struggle is to try and get a couple more buckets classified and run. You ran a lot and got some good gold! Merry Christmas 🎅
always have time for one more bucket! Happy holidays!
Merry Christmas fam 🎄🎁🧑🎄. Keep on having fun getting that Au and living the dream. Gold Squad Out 🤠
Does Gold Squad prospect for gold or have a UA-cam Channel?
Happy holidays Brother!
Nice amount of gold man
There's more to come!
Love the channel so far, great job!
Glad you enjoy it!
Loving it! Be safe
Beautiful
Love the video, can't wait to get back out there.
Hi, I'm a new subscriber and really enjoying the content. I started my own channel this year and having a blast with it. Keep up the good work and be safe
It really is fun editing and filming along with prospecting! :)
Very nice, that gold has some character was that 5 buckets or 4 NOT BAD 😀
5 buckets in this video and in the weigh up I added the gold from my previously posted videos from this spot :)
Wow nice idol 😮 things that are important
thank you
Great day out there getting that Au fam. Keep on having fun and living the dream. Gold Squad Out 🤠
Yeah brother, life's good 👍🏼
Very nice gold under that rock hope you kept digging 😁 Heavy Pans
Stay tuned for part 2!
Are you running the Bigfoot vortex dream mat sluice? Is it true that you can run it without classifying material?
Yes I am. With decent flow, classifying isn't necessary but definitely helps speed things along. personally if I'm not classifying ill usually just hand pick the larger stuff out like I do in this video. Hope this helps!
@ yes, thank you. Thinking about buying that sluice
Love to see gold like that!
you and me both
Love the video. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for watching!
Seems like a good haul!
stay tuned, weigh up in part 2!
Where was this at?
He can't say because he's on other's properties.
Nice! Keep it up
Crazy how you can find those in the dirt like that. Never would have thought haha
Not trying to be that guy, I’m genuinely curious. Isn’t it illegal to have any motorized equipment in processing? Rule 6 sub section H if I’m not mistaken. Unless you’re not in Washington. If that’s the case disregard.
