Wanted to buy a pair but it seems their quality has tanked according to the reviews on Facebook seems people are saying the stitching is coming undone or soles keep falling off
Not mine!! They have taken all kinds of wear and abuse and are holding up like a champ!
I have a pair of Boulet Buckaroos and they are crudely stitched. Mine are 2-3 years old. To me, they look like they were made by a trainee, or someone mildly intoxicated. They should have been marked as seconds. On the first pair, which I returned prior to getting these, the cording on the side was very crooked where the boot shaft met the vamp. Sloppy construction.
This makes me love Boulet boots even more
Do all boots have the steel shank? Also not all are nailed or staked with lemon wood, they are just stitched leather soles, why is that?

After 30 years in a northern industrial environment I've tried most work boots including some very expensive custom fit kind. Then I came home to the south and discovered Boulet work boots. The only time they aren't my first choice is if I'm after something they don't make. They are the best!

My last pair only lasted twenty years.Probably time to get some new ones.
