can you not reach it because there are vines in the way? i dont know exactly what parts are blocked off but i saw multiple people having that problem. if thats the problem then im pretty sure you need to have a popular reputation with the Jorvik Rangers Mistfall Station (you can get this up by doing the races with Alanso and the daily's with Voilet), then you'll unlock a quest with Keema to unlock the trail! i hope this helps!
