ross was possessive and so insecure when literally rachel wanted to focus on her career, it isn't obvious .... I mean its understandable that she was a person he admired for most of his highschool life, also his trauma with his past ex wife kind affected him mentally, but dumping all that in a new relationship was unfair and they should have communicated and rachel has no means to babysit a heartbroken dude. I can understand both of them tbh... rachel moved on quickly to start her career, and finally had freedom to stand up in her feet. Ross had everything only problem was trust. They both cared for each other, I think what irked me was that how toxic they made it to be...moving too fast that overwhelmed both of them...but for me I relate to Rachel the most just because she's very new to taking responsibilities and trying her best to integrate to corporate world.And was doing her work with integrity and compassion..and Ross went on ahead and stomped on her first steps....I get that he had his reasons but it was selfish....I think ross was a good emotional support for Rachel and showed her the values of responsibility, but him walking all over her when she got busy was immature and going against his own words, which was the biggest betrayal...
