Rob Thomas was my mom’s favorite artist and I can see why. Most of his songs are all relative to life and he evokes emotion with every lyric. Mom had a whole collection of him and Matchbox 20 songs, we would often jam to them in the car when we went out together. She was everything you could ever want in a parent: kind hearted, motivational / positive minded, hard working, her smile brought joy to everyones day. She passed away 10 years ago to heart failure…I was only 13. This is the song she sang to me to cheer me up…now I hold back tears every time I hear it, yet I still play it myself because I hear her voice and I feel stronger with every repeat. I’m now working toward a Masters in psychology as I look to help others through their pains ❤️‍🩹💖🙏 🌈

this song is nostalgic. Takes me back to middle school when all my worries were what time I'm gonna go outside and play, my PS2, and my karate classes. Now I'm 23 just bouncing back from very hard and tumultuous times due to the pandemic. Working my ass off in college worrying about this upcoming exam and looking for a better-paying job. How times change. This song makes me feel like that 7th grader all over again <3
