PDGA Europe Talks 05: PDGA Europe elections Sofia Pereira (Portugal)
Two candidates will be vying for two open positions on the PDGA Europe Board of Directors during all July ( full info: www.pdga.com/news/get-informed ). These two self-nominated candidates share a passion for disc golf. They have diverse backgrounds and a wide range of skillsets, both in their professional lives and within the sport.
Sofia Pereira #128365 is co-founder of the Portuguese Flying Disc Association (www.APUDD.pt) and the Beach Ultimate Lovers Association (BULA - beachultimate.org). From 2022 she is actively organizing frequent PDGA-sanctioned events and making big efforts to grow the sport in Portugal. I keep having the same thought but let's I guess chalk it up to jet lag or just a regular cocaine habit
I hope he is healthy. I started playing about 7 years ago. This man's accomplishments and drive have inspired me, not just in disc golf, but in life. I have nothing but respect for him. It's funny to imagine him using drugs, considering he has been pretty outspoken against substance abuse. I just hope to see him continue his legacy. His more recent comments about K.C., makes me worry he has something on his mind that involves his mortal clock. He is working hard to grow his foundation, but I want to see him take down some more trophies. That being said, we are talking about the reigning world champ. Maybe I'm seeing something that isn't there.

Than we execute our first drive and realize we are in the midst of a battle within ourselves. Controlling the beast within to create maximum success while completing with other warriors doing the same. What a game, what a journey, what an honor, what a memory to share!
