Burrfection Learning Wing Chun - Day 1

This is Ryky's first day of instruction when we started him on the opening to the form, stance switching (180 degrees), stepping, punching in the mirror and on the sandbag, and with chain chopping on the dummy.

punching range, kicking range etc are terms used in jeet kune do too.
Leung Sheung
Which family of Wing Chun form is that?
I like this instruction, it's slow and shows you a lot of inside information of what the techniques are actual used for and why.
Very insightful and well explained. Deepest respect to you for sharing this amazing knowledge
thnx fur upload sifu
Lmfao.... what kinda nonsense is this..
Come find out, fool.
I watched your video were you showed that dummy drill you created were you return to facing the front of the dummy with a quansow with the pinched knees as to not expose the groin I learned it and found it very valuable do you have any other ideas on the dummy you can share thank you
So if you are using a long guard ( With both extended arms ) using this will you get power and will it be effective?
You should put out more content Michael.
working on it
@@touchstonemartialarts4481 I am glad to hear it my friend!
Pretty cool, Mike! I’ve been subscribed to Ryky’s channel for a while.
In a real situation, the attacker will have two hands and two feet and will use them immediately if he has a true intent to harm. An attacker will not use only one hand and will wait for the victim to use him as a mannequin to demonstrate his martial skills.
Hi Ramon. "In a real situation"? I was demonstrating certain physical principles on a volunteer who was cooperating with my demo. I never represented this demo as a "real situation," by which I assume you mean a street fight. What you have done is change the premise of my demonstration in order to criticize me. I hope you can see how unfair that is and, I hope, you have the humility to admit that and that you will withdraw your criticism.
@@touchstonemartialarts4481 With a cooperating volunteer? Do you think anyone can get any skills by practicing with cooperating opponents? A boxer will send you to sleep in 10 seconds if you have no real experience in fighting. I have seen boxers wake teachers who believe their own lies from their sleep. Even a one-handed boxer has knocked out a teacher who said he could easily beat the boxer. How can your theoretical demonstrations be useful?
@@ramonalarcon1974, you seemed to have just called me a liar. Did you intend that?
@@touchstonemartialarts4481 Do you have any experience that shows that your skills are effective? If you don't have it, how do you know that in a situation of real danger, the attacker is going to interlock his hands with yours?
Yep. Completely agree with this concept.
Yep! Listen to that "THUD"! That his has POWER!
Excellent
Delusional
Why do you say that, Marcus?
Having worked closely with for years (years ago) I can tell you he’s the real deal.
As you cultural architects say "C'mon Man"
One of those to the solar plexus will do it 👍
Hope your still around come aug when I get to sac
I'm sorry I missed your comment until now. August has come and gone. Are you still interested in training?

Fire man 🔥💯
Awesome track for this...Great job Pat....thank you putting this together.
Mm
YEEEEAAAAAAA
Thank you Red. Perhaps this is a good place to explain something I said on the video: I said to “look the dummy in the eye.” Watch the other videos with a view of the top end of the dummies, and you will see that I have actually put a picture of a dude looking at the person using the dummy. That picture is there to break the bad habit so many have, some legitimate masters and grandmasters, of looking at their hands. As Mr. Miyagi is fond of saying, “look eye! Always look eye!!!”

Hello Sifu Nedderman, Great lesson on the Dummy's foot sweeping and stepping technique. Very informative.
Greetings to you my Wing Chun brothers and sisters.
