I love this song with the church bell and haunting intro, also great melody, atmosphere and voice. I can't BELIEVE this wasn't a hit when it came out. I guess you can't account for people's taste in music. This is a great song!

So much drama to the vocals, an original talent, oozes a soulful and melancholy delivery perfect for the airways but just didn't get the promotion it deserves, a record with so much going for it..all these years later, still has a nice late night, fresh delivery with the Prince like Bryan Ferry "cool" and music as innovative and sensually charged, still needs a listen!
A mesmerizing mix of vocals and trendy musicianship which actually has stood the test of time. A very good collection start to finish, love the guitar sounds and the pure high vocal delivery and plenty of drama in the song selection of cover and originals, WHY WAS THIS SO OVER LOOKED??
Been listening to this gem since it first hit the states, after losing Prince, I added this to my rotation and this has become a favorite, soulful and way underated piece of music, innovated soundscapes and vocal chops, should have put this guy on the map?
