I just came across this video. I'm trying to get an idea of what my '98 GTP should run. I've had it since 2018 , and have had it up on jack stands for the last 18 months. I hoping it should run just a little better than stock...and it was fast then. Is your run pretty typical of a stock GTP ?

My one year newer Silverado transmission temperature is about the same in that heat and with that load. Very safe at 209F.

What's the combo? Something weird going on to lose on the top end usually you double your 60 foot gain at the end

I appreciate the way you show exactly how to remove the connectors and take clear unobstructed video. . There’s got to be at least 3 or 4 different types and ways to disconnect these harnesses just on the various parts that are visible in your video. Other than the code what would a non functioning purge valve do to let you know it’s buggered up? $18-$20 bucks on Amazon and probably $60+ at GM. Nice coil pack, does it help prevent the corrosion on cylinder 4’s spark plug and the coil boot’s spring? Water or “ mist “ sneaks under the coil pack on that side of the engine enters the hole that the spark plug sits in and it’s probably boiled up by engine heat so the steam gets under the rubber boot and corrodes the spring that sends a spark to the plug.

They fuel pump is gonna burn up, especially doing pulls where your gas is all shifting to the rear and air is getting sucked in. I did it in my pickup so im speaking with experience 😂

Should've got a full tank of gas instead of a cold air intake ! it's not gonna do anything for your power just sound... There's engineers that spend hundreds of hours researching to get the air in for the best running engine for the best performance on that tune... unless its tuned for the "cold air" intake its just going lose power...
