I loved this quest 15 years ago, i remember studying Airex's videos and bringing guildies for support. Probably top 3 most memorable wow experiences. Well done on doing it on Hardcore! I believe i made myself immune to fear from Solenar by dueling a guildie warlock and having him give me the curse of recklessness before starting the fight. Another way to avoid the random scarab death

Serious question, what percent of hunters on HC do this quest? It's very risky and some things are not worth the risk.

Top respect, ignore the flamers, the armchair heroes. I did this in 2019 on fresh classic, solo, with no help, was a great quest. I had guild hunters asking me to do it for them as they failed it. Doing it HC is another level, knowing one slip up or resist or a failed FD can result in perma death, it creates a nervous playstyle, how can it not. Hearing people say they can do it blindfold and it's easy. I don't see their HC vids on here.

Why don't you have hunters pulling packs to get them in quicker? That was the main role of hunters in MC speed in classic in 2019 (other than TSA).

finally got a leaf after leaving hc elite. did this yesterday bro shot for the vid! took me 2 days after looting the leaf to complete the quest. no buffs was really easy after watching this.

The reason the ranged ripped aggro on Zeliak was that the marks actually halve your threat, and the tank that was relieving taunted a second or two before the mark went out. Not always an issue but a lot of time when tank swap stuff gets fucky thats something to be aware of.

not to take away from the achievement of this im just confused on the speed portion of it since you guys are in t3 pieces how its so slow compared to the normal speed record time in t1 equivalent gear?

Its so sad to watch the first 5 minutes of this video, because not a single information/conclusion done here is correct. I dont even know where to start..... 1) he is standing in the frost trap, you try to apply a wingclip, which is overridden by a persistant area aura of the frost trap. Thats why it fails. It was not a parry/dodge or whatever. 2) its not a bug that, that he enrages again after you just recently put your sting on him. 3) doing this quest in the mountains, where you can fall down, not properly kite or move, is a terrible idea. 4) after minute 5 you properly did it with the 2 swings, dispel, melee, wingclip and run

errr on the last one, couldn't you have a lock putting curse of recklessness on you so you can't be feared or was that fixed ?

i turned this off at 39 seconds when you unbooned with full raid buffs and consumes and started acting like this is hard. hardcore = joke version of wow.
