3 Days in Cairo - Exploring Egypt Part 1
Join me on an unforgettable journey through Cairo, Egypt, as I explore some of this vibrant city's most iconic and historic sites. I visited the Pyramids of Giza and marvelled at the grandeur of the ancient pyramids and the enigmatic Sphinx. At Saqqara, I discovered the Tomb of Kagemni and the Teti Pyramid. Afterwards in Memphis, we saw the fascinating discarded Ramses 2 statue.
I enjoyed panoramic views of Cairo from the Cairo Tower. I experienced a magical evening on a Nile River Dinner Cruise, with delicious food and stunning views along the Nile River. The Cairo Museum amazed me with its extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun.
The journey continued at the Egyptian Civilization Museum, where I explored Egypt's rich history and culture through its impressive exhibits. I also explored the beautiful Mohammad Ali Mosque, located within the Citadel of Cairo, which offers breathtaking views of the city. Finally, I learned about Egypt’s military history at the Military Museum, which has fascinating exhibits from different eras.

I hope you love Egypt as much as I did! I don't actually know who the tour was through, as I just contacted the hotel I was staying at and they sent me different tour options from their supplier. I picked the tour that suited me best and I was very lucky with my guide.

I hope you’re able to tick it off one day! It was a beautiful city, and while everything wasn’t opened during winter (I went in early January), it was much less crowded and just really calm and pleasant. Just make sure you take some warm clothes if you go at that time of the year!

I stayed at Ca'Angeli Luxury Guest House. When choosing a place to stay, I sort results by price (low first) and keep looking until I hit on one with great reviews. It’s the right balance for me! And the best part was the free breakfast!

Now, I haven’t been to even 1/4 of all the countries in the world, but so far, Samarkand is the most beautiful in terms of man-made structures. I feel privileged to have been able to travel there.

You have seen a portion of Muscat. You need around 7 days to see Oman. You are most welcome to visit us again. Try to plans your next visit from November to early March. The temperature is cooler than other months of the year

Hello Beth! Any transport options available from Mestia to Ushguli? Which one is better between these two?
I booked a day tour to Ushgali from Mestia because I wanted to make sure I had my transport locked in. We did pick up other people from Mestia who weren't on the tour, but were using the van to transfer to Ushguli and stay for a few days there. You could probably speak to the souvenir stores in Mestia to organise the transfer. I liked both, but if you're going to the area specifically for the defence towers and other architecture, I'd say Ushguli wins.
