@ Microsoft: AI in Action (feat. Geordie Rose, Dr. Paul Terry, John Weigelt and Justine Gaultier)
We had the opportunity to welcome folks for the second @ Microsoft event. Our focus for 2024 is AI in Action and we were thrilled to have Geordie Rose, Dr. Paul Terry, and John Weigelt join us on May 21st. AI is changing how humans and computers interact, but it’s just the first wave. In the next three to five years, we’re going to see significant disruption to the ways we live and work due to advancements in AI, robotics and quantum computing. Canada has been a leader in producing talent, research and start-ups, but we don’t do as well when it comes to buying the products we build. If companies can’t sell, they can’t scale. Commercialization is critical to growing our economy and maintaining our global position in transformative technology. #aiinaction #aiinbc #microsoftlife

Every time when I see your channel it gives me motivation to work harder and give my best. I know that getting into Microsoft is difficult but at least I need to give a shot for the interview in future after completing my studies until then I learn new things and get prepared for the job interview at Microsoft Vancouver.

Hi William. The Garage internship program ended in 2021, but you can still apply for other opportunities within our Vancouver teams. We also shifted to a new website - blogs.microsoft.com/vancouver/. There is a careers link in the top bar.

This is still my favorite video after first watching it three years ago!
Hello there! When will be the next Garage internship program?
mom: what do u do on that computer 10 hrs a day Dave: mom I made that button!
" we want to not only maintain the culture, but also evolve it based on all the new perspectives that come to our team" it's really impressive to see Microsoft's emphasis on "Humans of IT". Keep up the good work guys!
This looks wonderful. I'm trying to get this to run on the Mac, but when I run the starter code the message: No module named 'adafruit_circuitplayground' shows up, When I try Shift+CMD+P, then "Install Device Dependencies", I'll wait a while, I see an "Install Now" button option shows, but almost immediately below this another button option shows stating "".Dependency Download Could Not Be Completed." The "Read Installation Docs" can be clicked, but doesn't seem to open any documentation. Any ideas on how to get this to work on the Mac? I'd love to use it with my students.
Hi John. You can file the issue at github.com/microsoft/vscode-python-devicesimulator/issues.
I want to work at Microsoft now
This looks awesome, but when I create the new file I get "Activating Extension" then nothing :(
