We used to snowmobile and found that the camper heater still used a ton of power because the fan needed to run to push the heat thru the camper vents. Hubbie installed a catalytic heater on the wall just opposite of the bathroom door (because we hung wet ski clothes in there and kept the door open, so the toilet didn't freeze) and pretty much all of our snowmobile buddies followed suit after they found out how nice and warm our camper stayed without needing power to run the heat. Of course, we had more than one carbon monoxide detector in the camper. Another thing we found out that needed to be done if there was any chance that it would freeze inside the camper was to leave a gallon jug of RV antifreeze in the bathroom and to drip at least 1/4 cup in the toilet every time it was flushed (and after the camper got parked at home) to keep the seal between the toilet and the tank from freezing also to help keep the stuff in the black tank from freezing and rattling around in there like a rock as you drive down the road. A good lock to go on your Trailers hitch with a combo lock, not a keyed lock, so you could give the tow company the combo should you ever need to have your truck towed and have to leave the trailer alongside the road. We just put our lock on as a matter of fact whenever we unhooked the trailer.

Ron you will need to delete all the partitions. Then you can format the drive using gpt and one portion of 9gig. NTFS

Great job Ron! I like your videos because you are real and transparent. I think you have something here my man. I'm even considering starting my own UA-cam channel. I've been thinking about it for some time and finally might make the leap. I've been doing some 2025 planning for shoots and Tennessee is definitely on my schedule several times. Remember that the 10TB drive was formatted by the Syn box....not by a PC running Windows. Wait for the rebuild of the RAID pair to be completed by the Syn box and then reformat the 10TB drive with which ever machine will work with it. If a PC then format us NTFS file format. If Mac, format using APFS file format.

That's a lot of drive space!

I have a D500 from the blind video that comes out Wednesday. I made it in October but I thought it was funny that these two videos are coming out just a few few days apart lol I liked the nuthatch picture and the bird on the pocket three was great.

I also subscribe to the notion a 'hide' can be out in the open. Standing mostly still and not fidgeting allows some very good closeup work on birds.

That tufted titmouse photo on the video camera was the best picture of the whole batch! That one needs to be printed and displayed when you put out your photos for sale!

Loved the picture of the bird on the Pocket 3. That's a neat little set up that you have with the feeders, pond and your chair blind. Do you get any deer going thru back there in the woods?

I LOVE my D200. The hot pixels on it can be very annoying when you bump up the ISO.

Something else came to mind. Corey on Finding Our Someday (FOS) does a great job with photography. We just got back from Ragland Bottom Corps of Engineers campground. Near Burgess Falls and Rock Island. Colors are out. Was a bit hazy from time to time due to Canadian smoke I guess. Do you have your America the Beautiful card for 50% off federal camping and national park admissions?

Do you use the A6700 for livestreams too? If so, what USB-C cable would you recommend? I really appreciate this video about the battery. Most other UA-camrs didn’t even mention the fact that the camera comes without a battery.

I own a D7500. I would call it a good all-rounder. It has electronic front curtain shutter, mirror up, and exposure delay, all good for use on a tripod for landscape photography. It doesn't have a depth of field preview lever, but one can take a shot, then zoom in 100 percent in playback to check sharpness. I use the Nikon 10-20mm dx lens as well as the sharp 40mm f2.8 dx micro. In my opinion, the camera is refined and well built.

Have fun! Had nice fog to capture fall trees last week. Some nice scenes between Sparks and Hyatt lanes on the west with frost coated tall grass foreground. There was real live water flowing on Sparks Lane. ha ha BTW, the fall workshops were arriving last week. I am headed out to New River Gorge NP and nearby SPs in WV.
