I think the reason why she was able to toss the rope to Boyd is because that always happened, where Julie was meant to time travel to assist Boyd. Her trying to stop the MIY from killing her dad, that was to always happen as well.

Jim dying really got me, I didn’t like his character, not cuz it was bad because it was sympathetic, bro was in a place he didn’t belong and was trying to make since of it and take care of his family, of course he was going to look dumb, hope they find a way to bring closure to his death next season.

It's crazy to thibk that some viewers see jim a useless character, All be it. He was an important character from the very beginning, the man in yellow perceived him as a threat since season 1 when he built the radio tower trying to connect to the real world, so that means. Having knowledge of the town comes at a price, ethan was never supposed to survive nor jim. So they are exception to the town and it begs the question why the boy in white appeared infront of ethan, which means that ethan has a bigger role to play in the future and inorder this time not for it to fail. They must save jim becaus the man in yellow saw him as threat to the point where he deals with it himself.

Jim been annoying since season 1 so im not mad about him dying hes been a pointless character

Cried for jim so much :( but my theory is that Ethan is the man in yellow, he has gone crazy like we saw in predestination, dark etc and sara in the beginning said she has to kill the little boy (ethan) for all it to be ok!

Simple story , a devil from hell put criminals / bad guys in position of their victims, in hell.💀 In the end, the devil meet grey character which done hideous things for good cause, which hard to judge them.😢😭

It actually makes sense. Julie did not change the story by throwing the rope to help Boyd. It was always supposed to happen that way. Her time traveling and throwing the rope was the reason that Boyd escaped and that led to many everything that happened in the town that led to Julie time traveling. If Boyd didn't escaped, Julie couldn't have time traveled at the exact same time that she did. Different causes have different effects. Let's see how the next season builds up the story. In reality, time travel to the past is impossible because the past doesn't exist physically. the past is just a different arrangement of atoms and everything else in the universe. A different state of the universe. If the past does exist physically then that means that the universe is being duplicated constantly. This violates the first law of Thermodynamics: Matter or Energy can neither be created nor destroyed.

Jim's weakness is he's not a good listener especially to his own family. Making it the cause of his downfall was just consistent story telling. Kinda feel bad for him tho, his insecurity hindered him from helping the gang sooner.

Julie's hairstyle was different in this scene than before. What could be the reason for this?
