Bernie, Thank you! 🙏 just beautiful! Perfect phrasing, timing and oh yeah…dynamics! You got it all!!! takes balls to put yourself out there like this. Especially with that song. - but you made it yours artistically - and that’s why it’s compelling. I’ve been playing guitar for 36 years but gravitated to playing just acoustic this way for maybe 15 YEARS! Your ‘question/answer’ soloing chords & singing really works. The challenge is that you gotta keep all that together and sing in key…. But the real juice is that the soloing can’t just be in one box… you gotta land on the note that leads you to the next chord so that it sounds ‘right’ at the right time - The FUN part really. (i.e. do a run across multiple boxes hit the note closest to the next chord you gotta hit…and keep going MmmmWaahaaaHaaa) Sorry about this long writing but…this really spoke to me because for the first time I see and hear someone beautifully doing exactly the method I’ve toiled over for years. And in the end… it’s nice listening music. THANK YOU 🙏

I'm Carla's better half she's the front manager at kings arms pub. She's got great taste and also knows what I like. So I'm just drunk at the table digging through your vids. I'm nowhere near the caliber musician you are but the guys I played with back home in pictou county before moving down here to the valley 7 years ago weren't too far off and we were doing likely 50-75% of the same set lists lol. Dig it and can't wait to catch ya again man. Don't like the whole comparing thing but I'm pretty sure I enjoyed your show more than anyone I've seen down at the pub so far. There's been "bigger" acts etc but yours is the most honest and real so far👍👊🍻
