You gotta have your names ready as a GM. It really bursts the bubble of immersion if not readily available. Mayor Winslow, or Ferguson, Redrocket, or Lexington ... anything is better than just 'The Mayor'.

If you folks ever do another Star Wars game and need an additional player, I'd like to throw my name in the hat. My name is James, I'm 57 years YOUNG and live in South Georgia USA on EST timezone. Huge (pre Sequels) Star Wars fan, I am sure I would fit in with any group/players if you'll keep my name in the pool :) Love your liveplays btw.

Oh man, I want in on the next one haha. You may want to look at Foundry vtt. It is better than Roll 20 in my opinion, but may not be for everyone.

This was great, but should have ended at the end of Act 2 before the space pirates were introduced.

Very deftly GM’d, bringing in the story beats at good moments and juggling multiple NPCs making it look easy. Great group too :)

I watched 2 other Cyberpunk Red play sessions. 1 had a really good GM but 1 player was really loud and obnoxious and very rude to the GM (I think they were good friends but it was immersion breaking for me) so I couldn't watch. The other group I watched, again, really good GM but 2 players ruined it for me. 1 player was doing the silly comic relief thing. The other was just doing stuff to get the group in trouble, like being on a serious infiltration mission, surrounded by people who will throw you out at best and kill you at worst. This person was needlessly messing with random npcs in a way that would make them hostile, while the rest of the group is trying to gather vital information. Your group "so far" seems balanced. Not making the best choices if your goal is not to be shot but not breaking immersion. 🤘

Listening to your stream, guess Ill just update this comment as I go: - I home-ruled cover. Defensive cover you cant be hit at all (or attack). Offensive cover, you can shoot back. your opponent must make a called shot to hit you, if they miss, they hit your cover instead.

Episode 5?

Interesting situation though I can’t help but think that Williams is getting treated very poorly and the players are really meta gaming around him. Player seems to be playing him straight and showing actual compassion for others while being called stupid and a traitor constantly. I know they are ostensibly doing this in character but it would grate pretty hard on me as a player to constantly be mistrusted without cause even if I was going to betray later on when I hadn’t done anything in character to warrant that. Knowing the Alien franchise like the players seem too, it would be a red flag for one to run off un armed in this ship. Hopefully there is a story reason but I would be concerned the player was trying to get himself killed quickly.

Thanks for doing this, folks. I'm completely gripped by the developing story. Love the characters, the pacing - everything is excellent 👌 Been tagging along in the shadows the last few afternoons, while rebuilding the corners of a roof, on my own, blasting the adventure on my Bluetooth speaker.

You guys really need more Cyberpunk Red content on UA-cam. Mostly because I said so and I'm a random dude on the internet. Keep up the good work.
