When you get a chance, jump ahead 20 years and watch David and Richard, along with a host of talented musician-friends, do their amazing rendition of Echoes, live in Gdansk in 2006. This version is much better than the 1971 Pompeii performance, and it will take you on the ultimate cosmic journey.......

Great reaction Ang,... I was lucky enough to see the Delicate Sound of Thunder concert in Sydney Australia in 1988. If you ever get a request for another song do it, the whole concert was amazing, the back up singers and dance was spectacular, not easy to dance to Pink Floyd but yet they nailed it and were spot on. Best concert I've ever seen. I do have a DVD of this concert but I haven't watched it in a while so thanks for the memories 👍

"Signs"? You referring to the legendary "horns", that you see the crowds making at most heavy metal concerts? If so, I assume you think it has some sort of Satanic overtones, right? Well, they don't. As a matter of fact, it's an old Catholic gesture to make evil powers go AWAY. It was Ronnie James Dio (1942-2010), who many regard as the greatest singer in heavy metal history, who made the "horns" popular in the early 80s. He had learnt that gesture from his old Italian grandmother (he was from New York himself), but his reason for doing it on stage really had nothing to do with religion one way or the other. It was because at the time he was the new replacement singer in the legendary Black Sabbath and wanted to do something new to set himself apart from Black Sabbath's original singer Ozzy Osbourne. Some maintain that Ronnie had sometimes used the same gesture even in his previous band Rainbow, but it was definitely in Black Sabbath it was recognized to later become a global heavy metal phenomenon. Among religious and non-religious metal fans alike. Because there is literally not one heavy metal fan in the world who doesn't know the history of that gesture, or imagines even for a minute that there is something Satanic about it. And if you do, I must confess I find this very much insulting.
