This 2004 Chevy Silverado 4.8 has bin in my family now for 12 years .. it’s a good old truck … got a fuel pump coming for it next week it’s bin moved around the last year or so hauling some fire wood but hasn’t bin on the road in a couple of years .. time to get this thing back on the road and hammer down 👍

My 2004 Ford F-150 back on the road after the truck rusted out . The bed floor and support rails completely rusted away causing the bed to drop alone with both rear frame rails rusted and cracked … back on the road again after lots of welding and fabrication.. you know me where at hogans automotive keep the 90s models on the road

Do u know are they good cars if u just keep up with oil changes
I don’t think that is an 04.
Why do you say that … 2004 had 2 body styles .. the 04-08 and a 2004 heritage witch was the 97-03 body
Exactly @@jacobhogan509
My deepest condolences go out to your family on the passing of your father. How did he die if you don't mind saying?
I have a 05 grand prix gt and the engine r bullet proof its been ran on really no oil low coolant and it still runs amazing as long as u keep up on maintenance its going to last longer than the trans and body and i will always stand by that amazing cars obviously u hve stuff that will need to be fixed that comes with a older car but its realiable in my opinion
Bought my daughter an '06 Grand Prix Gen3 NA. she drove it for 4 years and wanted something different. My Chrysler 300 had just died, so I drove the GP for another 4 years. engine still ran strong, but the car rusted out underneath at over 200k miles. Now I have a 2000 GTP Daytona edition, 92k miles and no rust. Planning to drive this car for at least another 6-8 years. Love these cars.
I'm restoring my dads Acclaim that was his first car and that we used a lot as kids (as passengers lol) these Acclaims bring back tons of good memories, my dad bought it from a guy in Florida and legalized it here in Mexico for that reason is hard to get aesthetic parts but i need to get a few accessories to complete it, is yours still running? if not i'd be more than happy to buy some accessories from you
Their worth it, I got 2 of em and a Durango
Idk why people hate on these cars I’ve owned mine for little over 3 years I bought it with a 169k miles and now it’s at 192k and the only things I’ve had to do to it is ball joints and tie rods and normal oil change and stuff like that and every part is cheap as hell and don’t forget insurance is cheap on these aswell in my opinion these 3800 cars are great cars the transmission I’ve heard can be iffy tho just do maintenance and you will have a great car can take an absolute beating
Nice mane im about to grab a 08 for about 3400$ 124Kmiles
Could you record a little drive on the voyager? like a 20 min video

Thanks, can't wait to watch it!@@jacobhogan509
Chevy Cavalier platform, i would prefer the Sunfire but both were made to match the Turcells , degreaser should help take care of most of the cosmetics and engine bay
I owned an 04 Grand Prix. The car is fun but it is an absolute money pit..not worth it. Bought a Honda after it. Not as sexy but I don’t have to worry about all the maintenance bs.
My neighbor mr shore that lives a couple houses down from me has a sunfire just like yours he's had it since new i believe his is a 97 or 98 model
Nice car
Can you link me to a video please
I'm trying to install fuel pump in 95 ply acclaim
I got a 2006 gran prix sedan with 129,000miles for $2,500, put another $350 on repair for chewd wires; had it for a year and runs great still has great power at 200 horses, i love it!
What a cool collection. It's a shame you don't see many of these cars anymore. I do hope you hold on to these cars for as long as you can.
Creo que Ford y Chrysler son muy buenos, actualmente uso una Windstar 96 y no he tenido problemas con ella. Esa MINI van esta muy bonita. Sigue conservandolos. Me gusta mucho tu plymouth rojo.
Hermoso auto, bien conservado. Yo tengo uno modelo 1989, quiero restaurarlo pues fue mi primer auto. Felicidades y saludos desde México.
That should be a Dodge Intrepid
@@searches04 it’s branded as a Chrysler in Canada
@@jacobhogan509 Didn't know that. Thank's for the info.
Im looking for a daily driver and really like the LH cars but the reviews are very mixed. Some say that everything is falling off and some are fine at 300 000. So what I find is that the 3.3 is the most reliable which is found on the first gen Intrepids. What about the rest of the car (1993-1997) ? Also the roads are not very good at my area
I’ve bin in LH cars since 2001 . They are good cars despite what people say .. they have their issues like all cars .. inner tie rods and rear struts .. people say the 42lE is trash but I’ve serviced mine every 40 k with mopar fluid and filter .. if your going for a lh plat form you are better off looking for a 3.3 first gen .. then 3.5 is not bad either . .. uncle had a 95 3.3 520,000 kilometres sold because of rust
This takes me back.
Interesting collection. I always kind of liked the Acclaim and Spirit but maybe that's because I like boxy cars.
Some of the ugliest cars ever made by any manufacturer. The 90s and their cheap plastics definitely didn’t help. They were disposable cars
I like these 90s classics whether it's GM Ford or Chrysler im always amazed to see people who still appreciates them
Its awesome that you're collecting these now while there plentiful and inexpensive I was collecting Chevy Vegas for a while back in the 80s-90s when they were around now they go for over 10 grand or more even had some Pintos now they too are highly collectible and are missed,so keep on collecting early on in ten years these will be collectors items.
Seems like yesterday these were new now classic,I have a 96 Chrysler Concorde in my yard it's a beater but has144,000 miles has the same body style as the intrepid and has the 3.5 V6, perhaps it's time to get it running.
CLASSIC ? CHRYSLER words that'd don't go together?? I tow these pieces of crap = nite mares to scrap yard all the time. VERY SATISFYING! HA! KEN. CLEANING UP THE ENVIORMENT! KEN 50 + YEARS KEEPING AMERICA ROLLING!
Another sore gm lover ? Lol

@@terrypresnell2563 daily drive a 2004 ford … I’ve had some good fords over the years !
@@jacobhogan509 Don't let them get to you. They just don't have anything better to do in their lives, which is why they act the way they are.
7:01 is my favorite van of the 90s well besides the 96 Plymouth and Dodge
I bought a 99 Dakota with a 5.2 V8 magnum with 152,000 original miles...easy to work on, and worth all of the 3k i spent for it. Very tough truck, and good luck finding a newer mid size truck with a 6.4 ft bed let alone a V8. So, yep its a keeper.🤓🤙
Sad these weren't RWD with the motor being longitudinal already.
I have the 2wd 2006 f-150 and I have the same issue. I’m worried my truck is gonna lemon out. If you figured it out please let me know
Hey . It was a simple fix .. the belt was changed to bypass the ac and was a little tiny bit to big so wasn’t spinning the alternator fast enough got a new belt charging great now
Did your battery light turn on ? What you mean timing belt was small?
@@betov.ornelas5482 no the serpentine belt was to long
i got a red in like that really good bike
I bought my 2006 in 2012 and only have 175605 miles on it and no dents or rust. Still burns rubber if so inclined.
I have a 2001 pontiac sunfire, paid $300 bucks for the car 5 years ago with 104,000 miles on it and now it has just under 150,000 miles on it, still runs great and is still very reliable, I'm gonna drive that car until it dies Lol
we had one of these - not bad, but the lack of a sliding door on the left side was a total pain - very difficult to load people and things - otherwise quite satisfactory
Agrees 4 small kids and they all have to go to that side
Those trucks still sell for a decent amount of money.
That truck needs to be saved at all cost

Thank you for telling us it takes a 13mm socket to take out the plug. now i don't have to take a lot of tools with me when i get under the car. .
Fix it up. They don't make trucks like these anymore and pretty soon all they'll make is ev trucks....
Very strange. Mine 2010 in NYC - no any rust at all
Sounds like a timing belt broke which is okay non interference engine
Yes , just replace the belt , water pump, and tensioner, and you're back on the road.
I seriously want that car please save it and protect it! Every LH anybody can save is great!😊
That looks like a 95 that is a beautiful car too bad for it to be sitting
