Lot's of music! Pop songs to Jazz to Bach, all recorded on my beloved Yamaha C7 and a variety of recording techniques.
I enjoy music, and am happy to share my favourite songs with you.
One of my projects was to record all of J.S.Bach's preludes and Fugues (book 1) and have them posted here. The 48 pieces took about 6 years to record.
Currently I am interested in pop songs from the last century, lot's of great tunes; from Irving Berlin, Harold Arlen, to Hall & Oates, Billy Joel, Elton John. So much great music to explore. Maybe I will throw in some originals too.

This beautiful song written Hugh Martin and Ralph Blaine, in 1944 for Judy Garland, has such a wistful and melancholic character. It's good to pause, and to look back and remember. I am a piano tuner, and get to tune a lot of pianos, especially at Christmas time, but this piano is really special, a 9' Baldwin in a beautiful space, Knox United Church in Calgary. After I finished tuning it I had to play a little Christmas tune on it. Video is on my iPhone, and the audio is from A Roland R-09 Palmcorder.

Autumn Leaves is jazz standard written by Joseph Kosma in 1945. It has been covered many times by many artists . The beautiful fall colours inspired me to record this song as well.To record the piano, I used 2 AKG 460s in an ORTF configuration, a foot above the soundboard. Millennia HV-3D-4 mic pres, classic Shure 58 for vocals. Edited in Logic Pro X, and Final Cut Pro X. 1 take. Jerry Proppe

This is one of my favorite songs but I'm a little bit disappointed that you did not add any male vocals in it. It would have been a more full and richer sound.

More and more people should detect the lies behind the official corona politics (and many other topics) and make an honest effort to bring unconditional love and truth back in our lives. We are in the middle of a very crucial point in our world's history. It is the time of transformation that is precicted in the bible (e. g. gospel of john) and other prophecies to change our world after a big storm for the better.

Hi Jerry my name is Carrie and back in the day I believe you were leading the Youth at our church in praise and worship every Wednesday night. Sheila Pole and I used to go and sing the loudest especially during the chorus of Our God is an Awesome God. I would always turn around and yell out to the younger youth 'belt it' and they would ha ha! It was certainly the highlight of our week and we always look forward to coming and singing… loudly!
