I was looking forward to a game inspired off those topics for a while and was excited to try blue protocol because its not a gacha game and seemed to have more loops I would've liked. Hopefully there would be a game in the future I will be able to play :)

Thanks for the video. I'm really sad this game got shutdown even though I agree with your assessment from what little I played of the Japanese release. I had some hopes that Amazon would come up with a better monetization system in the west and that might keep the game afloat even if the Japanese version was floundering. Sad that I won't be able to explore the story and lore of the world. None of the Chinese gatcha ARPGs are really the same and don't scratch the itch that I was hoping BP was going to.

seriously tho, they should have released the game world wide and not only for Japan (or at least should have made it access to other countries too ) cuz amazon didn't really update anything to the people that were looking forward to play the global version of the game. :/ I'm really disappointed

all these problems screams one thing to me : This is the dev team's VERY FIRST MMO PROJECT which in hindsight is a cause for concern in and of itself. They think this will go just like mobile game development huh? well news flash Bamco you learned absolutely nothing from the MMO's around the world and you failed horribly

It sounds like they needed some better talent to make the game better. And a better company willing to take risks. Clearly Bamco wasn't up for that task. Because only putting out betas for the Japanese and parts of Asia and giving up before you even have a full release. Is extremely lazy. Imagine if ff14 online would have called it quits after the game was a massive flop during its first release. Nope instead they found better talent and had a re release. To a now massively successful mmorpg.

Sounds like a different company could have supported this significantly better than Bandai-Namco. This is pretty said. More competition incentivizes improvements.

Everyone outside of the small sq footage of the island of Japan could NOT put money into it. They were all banned on entry….so Bandai literally banned money from coming in, then played sad like not enough money was coming in….its extremely low iq

I wish they could sell the game content created so far to a developer who could fix its flaws and do it justice.. this is like Peria Chronicles all over again. Years of work w/ fans waiting patiently, building hype, only to crash and burn..

whoever decide that monetization is cosmetic overpriced gacha make the biggest blow

bandai failed this game utterly it could've been their biggest money maker but they kept banning foreigners left and right, signed on with the worst possible global publisher and their ponzy cash grabs were shit. not to mention the devs themselves didnt play their own game to test everything nor quality access it before releasing things like good on them for taking feedback and listening but if they can't follow thru with whats being asked then they shouldnt do things at all and tell their investors no one cares about gacha at all.

Should have at least attempted to release in america. Americans made TOF and genshin tons of money because they love anime games...

I was gonna whale hard on this game when it came out on global. Sucks to see it EOS in JP before it even released worldwide.

I don't think monetization is really a big deal in Japan when they are spending tons of cash in gacha games like FGO, Uma, Genshin, etc. Japanese can tolerate monetization as long as the game is good and enjoyable. Sadly, that wasn't the case for BP. The game is just bad. Also, I agree that the developers don't have experience developing online games. This became apparent in that disastrous livestream when they didn't even know how the class work that they were trying to introduce and couldn't answer questions from the viewers.

The main thing that keeps the game operational is money, if you like a game put some money into it, even a dollar or two helps.

They should've released it Globally. Japan just doesnt like action MMOs, same reason why Lost ark died there but is big enough on Global.
