This is a fantastic DVD of a fantastic concert! And this track is amazing! The oath of the Gods, this day was fulfilled - In the hear of the battle, Hector was killed See him Patroclus, down in the dust - Rejoice in his death my symbol of trust A dozen highborn youths, have been killed - cutting their throats their blood was all spilled Their bodies set at the foot of your fire - With oxen , sheep and two of yours hounds Your funeral Pyre high off the ground - Hector's body dragged three times around I will carry the torch to your funeral Pyre - I will ask of the wind to send high your fire Hector's blood will not be washed from my body - Until your body is burned A prophecy spoken a promise fulfilled - More blood will be spilled, more will be killed
What event is this a video-taping from? I got their Battle Hymns record in 1982, but never saw a video in those early 1980s with them performing and certainly not a live appearance registration.
Good times on the reunion. It was great to get up on stage with the boys and melt serious faces. That’s what we did. This is how it’s done I don’t care who’s in the band. This is how it’s done.
Truth is Manowar never released a ground breaking album after Ross left. His riffs and solos got a soul. Other Manowar guitarists are fast but too robotic, got no groove and feeling. Donnie is also great at this song, a true classic heavy metal drummer. If they return to this lineup and forget issues of the past I'm sure they will release another iconic album.
Awesome, Ross and the drummer were a huge part of that Manowar special chemistry. One look and you see this easily. I love MAB , but he is needs to play less is more like Ross to be Manowar style to me . Ross had cool feel . The drummer is feeling it and tight here . 💯🤘
I think this was in 2015, the only time he was invited back since they had some sort of jubileum. He was fired by DeMaio in the 80s so no other full live-act with him is on record since then afaik.
The only one. Ross The Boss at Keep It True 2016 was the greatest Manowar concert in almost 30 years. Too bad they could not continue with the singer from that gig.
Fan from beginning & saw every NY/NJ Show up until 1988...to ME nothing compares to the first six records & tours. Yes, there were great "songs" written after ROSS but nothing is 100% like those SIX RECORDS - ROSS THE BOSS/ ManOwaR =T=🇺🇲🦅=T=
Too bad they haven't done this again. What a blast. Nothing will ever compare or even come close for that matter to the original line up except of course Scott as well.
Ross is the KiNG!!!!
Ross is the BOSS!!
💥 Without a doubt one of the great and legendary Metal anthems!! Long live us... The hosts of Metal!!🤘🏻💀🤘🏻💀
Ross the Boss! FTW!

Without Ross Manowar lost their soul
Just amazing, best thing what ever happens with a band after 1989
Masterpiece
A banda mais barulhenta do mundo ❤❤❤!
This is the true Manowar
1:21 da fuck Eric singing there
"Hector's blood will not be washed from my body, until your body is burned"
This is why Ross is the Boss...

Great ManowaR line up and incredible Album. One of my Faves. =T=
Perfect attitude Sir!
On Guitar, *Paul Heyman!!!*
que increible!
None of these guitar shredding bozos come close to ROSS THE BOSS. Not the most technical player, but definitely the best fit for this band.

Ross the Boss.... need we say more.

Impresionante Ross, y sin una guitarra de las denominadas premium... Sonando de putamadre...
I'm a guitar player and usually it rules, but this drummer is beyond awesome! Eric Adams rules them all!
Ross Friedman is the best!! I know it.😍
We frigging crushed it
Thanks man for being in Manowar! : ))
No Ross "THE" Boss, No Manowar
ROSS THE BOSS, there is NO substitute.
Testosteroneee!
Heavy metal is my go to music for instant energy! Ross the Boss is true definition of heavy metal 🎸!
Τι επαιξες ρε παλικαρε!
Is that from The Day the Earth shocked?
Yup
🙏Eric Adams🤗, Shankle🤗 y Rhino❤🙏. "The triumph of steel": por sonido, técnica y concepto, es LA Obra Maestra de todo Metal de los 90's.
Rhino is alive..
A great lineup for sure, Triumph of Steel killed it
so de lembrar que eu tinha esse show completo no meunotbook que levaram 🥲
2 man ... nao acha mais ele completo
🥲
Ross guitar sound is true manowar

And the drummer is more alive than the current one

I didn't realize Eric used to be quite jacked, and I've never seen Ross live before. *Gods, if I could go back in time and see this event...*
