STOP Producing Music For SO LONG (you'll improve a lot)
Переглядів 3618 місяців тому
You undoubtedly waste your time in the studio. Not using our time wisely not only reduces the amount of music you can create, but also harms your growth as a producer! I'm guilty of this too, which is why I am conducting an experiment to see what can be achieved with time blocks we may have on our hands. I will then share my tips on how you can also get the most out of your studio time! Inquiri...

Another amazing vid, love the direction of this one got tonnes of value, definitely becoming a regular watcher of your videos, keep it up!
@@markwilsdon5898 Thanks a lot mate, plenty more to come 😉
No se porque me apareció esto en mi feed pero lo agradezco
Impressive video! Inspired me to do get going again. Any chance you would tell me where you got these samples (especially the perc-loops sound amazing)? Cheers :)
@@kneesweakmusic Awesome to hear it’s inspired you to crank out some music!! A lot of the samples are from splice (particularly audio tent samples I think). Now I think about it, I also used some samples from Latin music packs. Just need to get creative with the splice searches 😂
Usually I won't even bother watching someone who has not gained subs or many views on his content, because like wth would they even know that they could teach me. But you! I am truly impressed, even though this is not the type of music I make I've learned alot just by watching this video. I love the way the video is edited and the way you aproach it all. Definitely gained a sub, and I am sure if you keep this up for a little while longer, you will be set for success. Very good work, very impressed!
Thanks a lot, that means a lot to hear! I'm really glad that you learnt some new stuff, even though it's not your style of music :)
Great video! More of these! Also please make a more detailed video on making drums!
@@olivierdoornink7016 Glad to hear it! I’ll be making a lot more detailed videos in general ;)
bro you re doing so much complex montage and ypu have only 40 subs... hope you will get noticed
I'm proud to be the 49th subscriber. Definitely needs to get noticed
Awesome video bro, really good production quality/editing! Do avoid using lowpasses on drums? Noticed you just lowered the frequencies on the clap instead of low passing them. Is this because of phase issues? or is there another reason? Thanks for the content buddy! keep it up! :)
@@Dkuul Thanks a lot pal! Yeah I tend to avoid it partially because of phasing issues (although I’m not sure of how much a difference it makes). The main reason though is that I find you can make drums a little bit lifeless when low cut because It’s so easy to overdo it, so I prefer to do a harsh low shelf. Although I often use a combination.
Great perspective
Glad you found it of value!
Killer video, very creative
@@ClaridadCaliente Thanks a lot, glad you think so!😁
Really starting to get suggested fresh accounts on youtube lately. Anyway, cheers, keep it up.
@@FeelsOldMan Glad you enjoyed it!
Absolutely brilliant 🤣
@@markwilsdon5898 Cheers pal 😂
Wait! How do you only have 26 subs? The algorithm is messed up. Keep up the good work, bro!
Thanks bro, I appreciate it. I’ll keep on pushing out the content, I’m sure the UA-cam overlords will notice soon 😂
This is brilliant! love your humour too 🤣Excited for the release of the crying baby track! lol
😂 Thanks a lot pal, I appreciate it
SERIOUSLY UNDERRATED 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks man, glad you think so!😁
track actually slaps ngl😂 fire video
Thanks bro, glad you enjoyed it. I found myself nodding my head to it too tbh 😂
Great ideas! Grabbing my drill and babies from the garage right now!
😂
Great advice. You are going to blow up on YT with this good content and editing.
Yeah hopefully haha. Glad you found it valuable!
@@JakeMakesMusicDotCom Can you pin this comment? I'll reply to it on a different channel when I become a millionaire producer. ;)
This is a great video and fresh for production-type vids, I laughed so hard with the Joe Rogan switch-up, subbed 🤣
Good stuff. Most good tracks come together in 10-15 min. The rest is just polish😊
Wow. Really good video. I get recommended a lot of new channels but this one stood out. With all the editing and ways you kept my interest I was shocked to see only 11 subscribers. Seems like you've been making videos for ages. Natural.
Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it. I don't have 0 experience, but I am by no means a veteran content creator. I've just been studying the game for a while now haha.
Great video, thank you for this
3:28 is the reason I’m subbing liking and commenting you got rlly useful tips, I actually learnt something from this video, thanks broski 👊👊🫶🫶
Thanks brother, glad you enjoyed it 👍
Basic 3D my beloved
Started trying to learn producing just 2 days ago and have been watching a couple videos. Because of that this showed up in my recommended, the video is really well made and fun to watch. Never would have guessed this is not made by a more established channel. Really good job and keep the quality for next videos
Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully this channel will be more established as time goes on! It’s only 24 hours old lol
And good look with starting your journey as a producer ;)
Cool vid, I've been making music for 8 years and I've been thinking about doing tutorials, although I'm not sure if that's what I'd really like spending my time doing. What I was thinking though, is that "time used" doesn't necessarily translate to "time wasted". Maybe a video where you limit yourself to techniques and actions based off of importance could be cool. For example, EQing is usually important but you could forgo it and use it again at a later level. You could maybe even study how long each technique will add to your overall production time and if it's useful enough for that tradeoff of usefulness and time used.
Thanks! Yeah I kind of highlight that by forgoing the mixing and arrangement stage in the first beat. That could be a good idea if I decide to go deeper into this!

Simple… taking too long is a sign you are not equipped to complete the track naturally or have lost the feeling needed to do so.
