Fishmaster
United States
Приєднався 9 вер 2016
Fishmaster was created to provide innovative and affordable products to fellow fishing addicts. It began in the Spring of 2005 as a team of seasoned engineers who had designed the most popular wakeboard tower set out to build the first universal t-top that could fold for fixed bridges and storage. This quickly grew to a team including other engineers, professional fishermen, and boat dealers providing input from every perspective - installation, ownership, design, structural analysis and manufacturing. The team had one common goal - create a great T-Top and make it affordable.
We then set our sights on providing a complete line of accessories for the Fishmaster T-Top including swivel rod holders, innovative soft goods storage products and many others. We are currently working on my new products and accessories for fishing boats that offer innovative functionality.

What are the dimensions?
Mine only came with one rubber piece, these videos show two.
Do they make an offset version so it’s setting over the t top?
Sorry we do not have an offset version; this is the only style available. We have a radome plate which is a much larger version of the of the mounting plate. The Radome plate will accommodate much larger accessories.
Where can I buy the aluminum bracket the same to mount some pods on my T top? Thanks 🙏🏻
I need this
I am wondering if the top portion of the t-top can fold back towards the motor, I ? need it to fold backwards so I can fit it into my garage. Is this possible
awesome now how do i put it together?
Are you able to put rods in the center console side rod holders or does it get in the way? Thanks
No purpose for the loop knot, instructed us to make a loop knot, but doesn’t show where it comes into play. Probably because it doesn’t.
NEVER put 3M 5200 adhesive on the boat if its not under water. Use 4200 instead. You will be glad when you have to remove it.
this is the correct way to do it dont listen to people telling you bullshit that you have to cut holes in your floor to install plates its false
I used plates and machine thread bolts for mine. Inspection hatch next to each side, can easily completely remove and reinstall and there is NO chance of it ever loosening. Only lazy people would use self tapping...
So how about a video showing the 2 fold part?
Thanks for making this video and for the printed instructions.
Does this work for a 2inch frame tube?
I was wondering the same thing, if you find out please let me know.
This video is completely wrong for my Fishmaster Pro T-top, on mine there are 4 vertical supports with four joints takes 4-Knobs. On the canvas top there are 4 joints takes 4-knobs. You cannot put two knobs in the canvas top joints two knobs will not screw in without jamming the knobs together, there's not enough room to screw them in side by side!
Are you the idiot that thinks space isnt real?
I have a fishmaster rod but dont know what type how do I find out?
HOW ABOUT A CLEAR VIEW OF THE BAG AND TIPS ON ASSEMBLY. MINE ARRIVED WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS OR PHOTO
I just installed mine. The frame does not perfectly align. For example, the top does not simply lay into the cradle holds. You can adjust it this way, or that wya, it just doesn’t align. The engineering is off and will have to be screwed in place by pulling them down from being in a slightly cockeyed into tight position. This puts stress on the frame on the bottom and top, while I hope it will hold. Sincerely, this could be more precision engineered for the price. Nice looking T-Top, however, this not a butter the bread job because of some the misalignments and the adjustments you will have do for the lower to force match with the higher. I didn’t appreciate these manufacturing surprises since you expect things to fit perfectly. We will see . . .
@@Farmer2492 How would you know that? In fact, I took a photograph of the misalignment of the first sent top section parts to me which visually showed how serious the problem is. FishMaster sent me new ones. I appreciate this and they paid the shipping. The replacement, however, was hardly any better! ! I had to force them to fit. We are not talking a little force. One of the bottom foot of the leaning posts were not sit square with a flat floor. So it is not square when installed either leaving one screw not fully seated. May I add on the first order, several parts were missing. Not one or two, rather several. There were so many problems on both the original and second sending I cannot possibly believe I am the ONLY person this has happened to, nor these major parts are the only one's ever that misaligned. People ought to be aware of it. The T-Top is on the boat and looks good and to screw things together with those "fast release knobs" requires some effort due to misalignment.
Not a very good DIY video at all.
Thicc
Tore on me second day on the water.
Greetings good morning, where can I get the base of that antenna where it has that security light. thank you I await your answer
Greetings good morning, where can I get the base of that antenna where it has that security light. thank you I await your answer
Installing deck screws in the deck is NOT the right way to do it. There should be a backing plate installed under the floor for the screws to connect to. T-Tops should be through-bolted to the deck, not simply screwing them into the deck. That won't hold for years, but only months. That setup won't be strong enough, and you will notice that those screws will start to fail after repeated use in rough seas.
Yes, this makes sense. How do you get the backing plate installed?
@@prettygirlus9008 If there isn't a backing plate or something intended to bolt into then the boat maker never intended it to have a T-top. You'd have to remove the floor section where the base will bolt to and installed a backing plate that is tied to the stringers. Then put the floor back, while will mean it will have to be re-gelcoated to match. Then you can through bolt into the backing plate. There's no easy way really.
@@Rico11b seems you can do that after those so- called weak screws come loose
@@Farmer2492 very nice. You just got lucky with the right t-top/boat combo. Or you don't boat on rough seas. If you never go in the ocean you may be ok. Sometimes ya get lucky and the combo works well, but that doesn't negate the fact that there is a proper way to have the t-top installed. I have lots of friends that have done the same thing. They only fish and boat in local lakes on calm days, then the first few trips to the ocean they begin to see the problems.
@@Farmer2492 there are lots of manufacturers that do say that. Show me a great boat builder that sells boats WITH a t top installed that doesn't have something like a backer plate also installed. Your boat probably has a backer plate and you don't even know it. Or maybe a very thick wooden deck glassed in. Many boats today don't even have any wood, so now what. Running screws into the top deck ONLY is NOT. a proper way to secure a t top that will last. Just because it worked well for you doesn't mean that's the proper way to do it. You've just been lucky, or you're full of shit. If it truly worked for you then great, congrats, but don't lead people to believe that is the proper way when it isn't.
$$$$$??????
This people never return any communication by email or phone call they suck
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS THE LOOP KNOT FOR G
That was pretty useless...only half a bracket?
What a terrible job, at 1:31 you can see the wire is all chafed and nicked from fishing it through the unnecessary amount of holes drilled everywhere. Give it some years worth of salt spray and the whole length of cable will rot. Needless to say it seems like cheap bare copper wire was used, not marine, tinned wire.
What is the material?
Great idea to mount rod holders on lower sides of console below these grommets to facilitate storing extra long surf rods used as outriggers or a safe way to store a sabiki rod since a loaded sabiki rod stores with a weight at the tip and is too flexible to safely store in a traditional rod holder.
Please upload a video of installing these grommets. Like melting the proper holes or cutting the holes etc.. This looks to be a great product idea but they are entirely too expensive. Maybe the outer rings need to be stainless.
How fun was that trying to fish that wire through those small holes?
Notice they didn’t cover that part of install!!!
If you use a snake it wouldn't be that difficult. One tool I always keep in my toolbox.
Should make these for the Pro T-Top
Looks good let's go fishing
Bad design, welds are ugly and the seat won’t flip up more that 4 inches. For the money you would expect something nicer. Why even hung the seat if won’t open?
My experience with the quick release knobs taught me to use an allen wrench to snug them up anyway. They will back out with road or boating vibrations. These are still a quality made piece of gear, and I use them but don't really need them since I must use a hex wrench anyway. Your experience may differ from mine.
battery powered ratchet makes removal and installation a breeze.
What about the wiring?
there is a video for that - drill lots of holes 😞
This box should have a clamp system most people don’t want to drill the tubing
So, how do you get a rod in the console rod holder with no hole in the T Top canvas???
sol
Just ordered one. Thank you for sharing!
I just purchased this and love it!
*This rod holder is strong>>>**allabout.wiki/e39z** but lightweight. It's good for keeping your fishing rods steady and securely. No need to stand holding a fishing pole if fish are slow. This is definitely a great item and it makes a great gift.*
?
You also show on your website that you offer it in white and I ordered one and I hope it’s white and not white and black because you don’t show a simple pic on the all white one
Why don’t you show how to put together the back part you also sell
Wish on these t-top videos they would explain where to install it on the deck, don’t ya have to make sure it’s tied into the stringer?
you started off showing the middle loop knot then skip to showing you threading the top 5 or 6 loops later. please show the very begining of starting to start the rope around the pipe for the first time
Radio box, rod holders or antenna mount available for the “pro series”?
