The Auckland Diocese covers the area stretching from North Cape down to the Waikato River, across the Hauraki Plains into the Coromandel Peninsula. The Anglican tradition is to value its diversity and to not be afraid of tackling the hard questions.

I replayed the start of the video in case I had missed something, but I hadn't. You failed to include a greeting in English, your native language. Why? Small wonder that that Anglican membership numbers are abysmal, and falling as we speak. Or are you seeking to boost your Maori membership. Fat chance there. Go woke, go broke...
Ta Paora so missed at AUT a wise and very kind soul. May he rest in peace as his legacy will be remembered. The Sir Paul Reeves Business Faculty is wonderful.
This is saturated in religion. Kei te te tikanga o to tatou tipuna?
It's an Anglican thread what do you expect?
❤
What an excellent kaupapa!
this is exactly what i need just come from a tangi at my mums place. time to bless the house

If the deceased is a Christian it's a easier to perform these karakia but when the person is an unbeliever or atheist it's a lot more difficult what do say in a situation like that?
Carry on with your karakia wether christian or non christian let God take care of the rest as Christians we offer the soul of the deceased back to God in Jesus name we are the mouthpiece it's our obligation out of love for humanity
Thank you Ross.

A great gathering on Saturday - made all the better with a meal together afterwards. Thanks Bishop.
Thank you so much for this! We wanted to learn to bless people in Te Reo; now we can!
Tena koe hei enei karakia waiata himene hoki Tau ke
Kia ora!
Thank you Bishop Ross for sharing such a beautiful reflection on the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. What an amazing example she was of Christian witness to us all. A life lived for God, in the service of our Soveriegn, who reigns Supreme. The King of kings.
Thank you on behalf of us all, within the Diocese of Auckland, for offering these respectful words. Indeed, we are most mindful at this time of The Queen as a true and faithful servant of Christ, the King she was called to serve. May she Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory, leaving this world for the next heavenly realm.
So glad that you are feeling better! Sorry to hear about Bishop Peter.
God be with all in this new exciting and valuable new ministry initiative. Lay ministry will be so important to meet our future challenges.
*👍супер и привет от тренера по футболу!!!!!!!!*
Like all Māori kupu, the kupu is defined by the sentence you use it in.
I am disappointed that you did nit acknowledge the first anniversary of the tragic loss of +Jim this past week.
Thank you for these very important teachings. Please don't stop your teaching.
awesome and most helpful
What a lovely man & a positive message . Thank you.
Very encouraging thank you for sharing
Excellent presentation, thank you
Interesting
Shocking!
Ngā mihi, thank you whaea. Beautiful to listen to your reo and your encouragement to learn.
It is indeed beautiful
Your a star Vicki and your light brightens all of our lives 🤩
Great work Rev Vicki so pleased to see you supported by the Anglican Dioceses and Bishop to create welcoming churches that are accessible and inclusive of disabled people. If helpful I could over look the policy and provide feedback Arohanui
This is outstanding work by Reverend Vicki. And Bishop Ross Bay's strong support of "disability awareness and inclusion initiatives" is a great blessing to witness. Thanks to the Auckland Diocese and to Reverend Vicki for this good news and good work.
great to have subtitles. Many thanks to and for those responsible.
Our pleasure!
Great to see this diocesan video being developed so imaginatively and so interactively. Thanks for all those responsible for this.
Splendid way to understand the practical connection of our crucifixion doctrine with the enormous and heartrending reality of Mediterranean refugee transience. Fascinating too that Lampedusa is also the home of our retired Pope - "our" Pope in the sense that Popes, active or retired or gone on into a greater light, are part of the whole whakapapa of the who'le church and the whole world, Thanks Ross for your leadership,
Congratulaations to Initiators of this splendidly appropriate project and good on you Bishop Ross Bay for spending time and energy and vision into this work. Hallelujah!
Thanks for your encouragement!
A privilege to listen to Reverend Jacynthia and Pihopa Hori (George) Connor share their reflections (as part of a team) on their part of the translation process of the ANZPB into Māori. They both have significant Christian Mana, in my view, for all the good work they have done as translators and scribes. This is a significant moment in history they are recalling. I hope someone does a doco on that time and this good work one day. Thank you Reverend Jacynthia and Pihopa Hori (George) Connor. The translation discussion starts at minute 10 on this video.
P
Women should not be ordained to the priesthood. That is unbiblical.
Every blessing on your ministry Ross.
Talk about out of tune... That organ... Yuk!
You are an expert I presume ?, you are an organ builder ? a professional musician or just opinionated?
@@elgar57 - do you have to be an expert, an organ builder or a professional musician to hear the instrument is out of tune?
God bless you all!
Great choir
Congratulations 👏
Roman Catholic church. martin luther is a heretic
Wish I could have been there
I was one of a few who selected Jim to train for ordination, in the first instance. I have never forgotten that day. God bless him and his family.
