I went on six first dates before I found my wife. Five of the first dates were “cold”, where we had never met before. On my final first date we knew each other ahead of time which, even though it was technically a “first” date, it was a lot less stressful. We’ve been happily married for 5 years and we’ve got three wonderful kids so far. And yes, the religion and political agreement is absolutely necessary today.
