Late in September 2023 Autel quietly removed 2 of 4 programming options from TPMS tools on newer made TPMS Tools: Manual input ID, and Copy by Activation (from a sensor in wheel or hand) - why!?!?

Thanks for sharing. I sell the tools and wasn’t aware until a client, (and now a friend) Cam asked me about this change in newer tools, so I checked and confirmed it. I was shocked, and wanted to share for others considering an Autel TPMS tool to know. Thanks for your comment.
When my workplace ordered the Autel TS508WF and a 20-pack MX 1-Sensor bundle, I took a good look at the tool itself. The only MX-Sensor programming options on it were Copy by OBD and Auto Create since it was made after September 2023. The TS508 that we used since 2019 still have those four MX-Sensor programming options. Granted, I didn't pay very much attention since we used "Auto Create" all the time.
Where do you get MX sensors? Are there knockoffs or all of them are original Autel? Lot of reviews on Amazon says those don’t last long. I was curious if MX sensors are not really good or they are knockoffs.
@HETPEZB My workplace gets them from either NAPA, B-Line Tire Supply, or Kenridge Tire Supply. The MX-Sensors we got from them are genuine Autel products. And, yes, the battery life only lasts between 4 to 6 years.
