The Downfall Of The 2024 Brisbane Broncos
Brisbane lions did what the broncos couldn’t take that heartbreak and win it the next year
I love the Warriors living in China....I loved your thoughts...because it's the truth...keel it up Brother
So pretty much every teams supporters are fucked 🤣
Ezra Mam has no licence and Kevin Walters has no eyebrows 😮
Turbo Tom on his absolute worst day still puts in more effort than Latrell Mitchell on his best day so it’s a bit premature to be writing him off..
Sad but true
As an avid roosters, storm, panthers, sharks, bulldogs, tigers, broncos, cowboys, raiders, knights, dragons, rabbitohs, eels, warriors, dolphins and titans hater,, i really hope turbo can get better.
Great player in his prime and hope he rediscovers his form but really strange call up to the Aussie team and gob smacked he is was selected in the centres against Tonga
I knew Tom growing up through Aussie rules. His body was probably more built for that game tbh.
A flame that burns twice as bright lasts half as long. That’s Turbo.
Bloke gets injured, hoping out of bed
@@AnthZee82 the official story was "hoping out of the shower" if you believe that 😂
Am i the only one that think Nicho is overrated? I think he's a player that needs a Bellyache type coach but i understand that getting a starting position at the Storm is difficult but if he's good enough then Bellyache would put him in the starting 13 & Bellyache doesn't accept excuses, he's no tyrant in personal situations but excuses for onfield performances & work ethic is not tolerate, ask Munster lol. Nicho would go well under Robbo, even Bennett, he needs that strong coach to pull his head in but that father figure off field. The other thing with Nicho is blaming everyone else, including the coppers for his mum's lifestyle. I understand he loves his mum, grew up with her absent, he's dad & step mum have seem to do a great job raising him under the circumstances into a very polite & respectful young man but he needs to come to grip that his mum's lifestyle choice was her's, not his or his brothers fault which i personally believe he actually feels & once he actually admits that a weight will lift off his shoulders. He also in interviews should never put shit on the coppers, which he also blames for his mum's lifestyle as it's not a good look for professional footy player esp when he has young kids looking up to him as a role model.
I actually said (as a Parra fan to my dad who's a Chooks fan) during the year that i don't get why Manly keeps trying Turbo not just for the club but for Turbo himself. As someone who is 45 woman & lives in chronic pain not from sport (I played rep sport in my younger days & danced all my life up until 10 yrs ago & taught dancing also) & can't get out of bed without painkillers & other pills, I'd hate to see what Turbo is like when he hit 35 let alone older than that. It's not a fun life laying down most of the day bored shitless coz you're too much pain to catch up with mates or have any type of social life
As warriors fan yeah this is accurate 😂😂 oh yeah FUCK THE REF
The bloke is made of sawdust and superglue
I always felt rcg was a cat at penrith, that he turned up when he felt like it, I was dirty gus signed him for 6 years and we had to pay 250k of his contract every year at the eels while shedding players so I couldn't imagine paying 1.3 for dce then 1.1 for turbo whos hardly on the field and 900 for jake bcuz hes turbos brother, then that schuster deal was incredibly dumb now paying a portion of that, saab is signed til 2029 I think and he's proving to be injury prone, I know the cap has gone up but I'm not even sure how I feel about paying Olakau'atu 800, yeah he's damaging when hes on but he isn't always on and hes not a liam martin.
nah ola is top shelf 800k is market for him hes up there with villiame as a strike backrower. manly biggest issue is turbo ot on field and just how good there opposition is in top 4
Manly should have got rid of him season's ago.. he can't stay fit and isn't worth the money being paid to him.. just my opinion and I'm a Manly Fan for over 55 years
I wish he stood down from the Australian team so he could focus on his health and the team being a manly fan myself I just wish the best for him but I maybe sebs could see him playing in maybe a different spot like centre like how they play Garrick but who knows hopefully he has an amazing 2025 season
he probably knows he might not get the opportunity again
Being a fan of the "Most Hated" was so much fun when Turbo was on song. Such a freakish talent in 2021.
2021 was when footy peaked for me. Ngl
@@TheAustralianSportingCartel idk something about 08 and 11 resonated with me too
I hate to admit but it's true I really want to see turbo back at his best but we've had way to many seasons where he's been out for extended period. I feel so bad for the bloke as he would've easily had at least 300 games next to his name if it weren't for all these injuries by career end but we can't go on like this. I hope he has a injury free 2025, he had a pretty good season overall once he came back from injury until that injury at the end of the season
It's a weird situation to be in. Manly's in a win now situation, as once Turbo's body finally caves and DCE retires, they won't be competitive for at least 5 years. So they can't really afford to let Tom go. He's also a lynchpin culturally, and you don't want to run the risk of losing the support of his friends and family. Further, when someone else picks him up, if they can keep him on the field Manly will have serious sellers remorse. Frankly, who knows?
It's a double edged sword. They're such a loyal family who have provided such crucial service to the club. Letting him go might be the right decision financially, however it's quite the moral conundrum
@@TheAustralianSportingCartel I’m not even sure it is the right call financially. You’d still need to pay a good amount of freight until his contract is over, and I don’t think anyone could describe paying someone else to have Tommy Turbo against you as good business
Lukmango and Luk white, from my favorit podcast, the ASC
The problem actually started in 2020 1 great year with other years of mediocre
When you thought you couldn’t beat what the Roosters did in Round 1, somehow the Rabbitohs did. I don’t recall a season where both games pretty much had the same result but one a piece like this.
Shit call
They sure did
Of course he did
As a Manly fan without any bias, I can, with full ignorant confidence, say he did not.
I was there......was so gutted. I love DCE when he plays for Queensland, but he broke my heart that night, such a clutch player.
Since were ranting about Cats why in the f**k do they try to run in front of your feet when you go to feed them😤 Then has the audacity to whinge when they get stepped on🤣
Tigers robbed Ashly Klein hates us 😂😭
They got rid of some of the dead wood (Walters) next Alfie, not to mention their show pony backs.
Kayal iro rookie of the year 100 percent 🤓
Hey kings!! Never rush a video as I forgot to include Lock of the year..... Its Isiah Yeo...no shock there
Nathan Cleary won't win a Dally M, he'd too injury prone now or will get selected in Origin, he always misses time in the regular season.
Dragons won 11 in a row not 10
This game made me hate Kyle Feldt from that day onwards🤢 grub.
Penrith... your kids literally have the largest and best sporting opportunities in NSW! But you'll fight over whether you're from St Marys, Glenmore Park, Cranebrook, Richmond/Windsor or Blaxland... Because it matters what part of the Penrith/Nepean District you're from...
I'm a Manly fan living in Penrith so this Stereotype doesn't apply to me Uce ;) :P
I was there that night as a little 8 year old. I didn’t care too much about the result as a Roosters fan because there was a fight near us in the stands during that final moment. We moved away from it to the concourse and I couldn’t stop crying, I saw my Dad (Souths fan) jump up and down with the crowd’s noise and that’s how I knew my Chooks had blown it - gutted I missed an iconic moment.
disgracefull call just like many others prior and beyond. The rules are convoluted.
Definitely touched it. Foran admitted he touched it.
Racist refereeing is just part of Australia
NO escort come on bunker
The uneducated
Huh
I was crying
As a neutral Penrith fan, the Tigers won that day. An embarrassing moment for the sport.
Robbed
Robbed
I've never been a huge Panthers fan but ive loved this current team. They are nearly all home grown and some even locals who grew up playing together and have genuinely morphed into a super team. They also came back from that 2020 GF loss in a way the Broncos clearly haven't. I guess as a Novacastrian they are exactly what I wish Newcastle was. Im hoping for four in a row.
