One of my fav films ever; watch it every year without fail ❤️

Hey Tone; thanks so much as ever for stopping by 😀🙏🍿🎸🎶 Thanks so much for the kind words; I thought I would do a devoted video to my Home County and some of Yorkshire’s finest media out there 🤩 Oh you can’t go wrong with the Human League mate; I got I think their first 5 albums; I actually don’t mind their debut album ‘Reproduction’; when they stated out quite Experimental/Leftfield; definitely a Cult gem 👍👍 ‘Dare’ is a super Synth Pop; that really defies the genre; brilliant album 🤩 Oh that is so fantastic to hear that Tone; ‘Kes’ is my favourite British film ever; one of my fav films of all time and possibly my most watched film ever; think I seen it over a thousand times 😱 ‘Happy Valley’ is absolutely amazing indeed Tone; very nitty gritty drama; so bleak and true to life; the acting is fantastic; so much tension building in there; each episode that end on a cliffhanger; my jaw dropped! Definitely one I revisit in future; thanks so much again Tone; I must catch up on your content soon; hope you having a good weekend my friend 😀🙏🍿🎸🎶

Hey John; thank you so much again for commenting and for stopping by 😀🙏🍿🎸🎶 I loved this film; the kills were brutal and were awesome in this film; the character work around the Killer; I thought was really well done in this; the group of characters I think were a big wooden; it was interesting a couple of which knew the backstory about this Killer; but apart from that; they were pretty unmemorable. I think the film definitely worked well without the score; I am all for film scores and I love film scores; but I think the sound design and hearing the trail of this main Killer; it built upon the tension; that this film had bucketloads of it! I can agree about the ending; it wasn’t the best and could have easily been trimmed down by 10 mins; I really loved the film overall; it definitely reminded me of the first Friday film in some ways; definitely one I return to in future 😀👍

A lot of reviewers on UA-cam would say there was not any tension and there was a lot of it. We see it, but others do not. It definitely had it's feel of Friday the 13th. I will be coming back to this movie too.

Hey John; thanks so much for stopping by 😀🙏🍿🎸🎶 I really liked the film; there was a lot to admire; but I can certainly agree to an extent that a couple of decisions towards the end I wasn’t so sure of and I think we could of done with another 10 mins to properly wrap up the story; also I wish we saw more of Nick Cage in the film aswell; because like you say; he was really good in it and it was one of his best performances 😊 The camera work was excellent in this; I liked how the film meshed the imagery and the present day in the film together; it really oozes through the atmosphere. The main actress did a fantastic job in the lead role; also the other guy who played the FBI agent; he was really good in it aswell. Very good film overall; but don’t think it is going to have much rewatch factor for me; still a really solid film; thanks for commenting John 😀🙏🍿🎸🎶

@@samglendenning9884 If the movie would have wrapped a little bit better, I definitely would have enjoyed it a lot more. I just want to make sure we are on the same page. The other FBI agent you mentioned. You are talking about her boss, right? If so, I agree with you, he was another great actor to follow throughout the movie. You're welcome and it was a fun review to watch.

I have seen ‘Schindler’s List’ the once; thought it was incredible; doesn’t have the rewatch factor to it as it is a bleak subject matter; but an incredible film.
