That's exactly what I do to my animatronics because you're exactly right, to use them indoors or covered areas is useless.
Even though all cosmetics are covered the latex head will dry rot in weather
Great work... Thanks
My brother went to PC! Thanks.
Does the motor get hot enough to melt the bag around it .?
So you hate your dad..?
Do I do the same for stucco outdoor window sill?
Mine broke after 3 months. With no support help from water tech. Dont buy
Excellent
Well done lad
Great video, you took the mystery out of what’s inside the box and provided all the how to. $43 later and a full disassembly & cleaning it’s up and running again. Thank you
Yes! Thank you so much for making this video! Saving me hundreds of dollars!
Thanks dad❤
Thank you for help !!
My kid pull too hard and broke the main unit that hold the string. Any suggestion to repair it?
Great video! Thinking about purchasing one like this , would you recommend? Want something that is capable of remembering settings from previously day so if my pump kicks in next day , the heater will continue to heat the water to desired temperature from day before is that possible with this model ? Another words- don’t want to manually adjust temp every day ….thanks !
No manual adjustment needed. It remembers its settings as it turns off and on. I would recommend it. Mine is still going strong after I made this repair a year ago. Good luck!
My rollout switch blows constantly, even when the heater was first installed it lasted less than an hour. Today I replaced it, went to turn the power on and the heater won’t even power on. I checked the outlet, breaker, and power cord which are all fine. Have you ever had an issue with yours not powering on?
There is a 5 Amp fuse on the board for the control, gotta open the front bottom panel with the knurled nut and there should be 2 bolts right under the lcd panel pull it down and out and check if that fuse is blown
I have not. Sorry you’re having a hard time. I feel your pain!
Every friggen video on here shows you how to tighten it. Not one shows you how to remove the thing!
Push the locking leaver down and it loosens
Great video, thank you!
Paint it. Use textured masonry paint. Do all the windowsills.
Dealing with the ROLLOUT SW OPEN error today on that same exact heater. I ordered the flame rollout switch replacement part two days ago. Now that I watched this video, I have way more confidence attacking cleaning the heat exchanger. Great video. Glad I found it. I will clean the heat exchanger before putting the new switch. I will clean the heat exchanger and then see if the new switch is needed, which i imagine it is due to the one time use from what I read unless I am misunderstanding?
Sounds right to me. Glad the video was useful. My heater is still going strong a year after making this. Thank goodness! Good luck!
Loved you as the fake drama teacher in Community.
Great video, I actually can't open the top after removing the 6 screws on each side. The front of the top is won't come loose? Did I miss something?
how do you open it????
Unfortunately all 3 strings of my H D blind snapped at slightly different lengths. Will the sliding bottom mechanism allow access to all insertion points . Or will I have to remove the entire bottom cover to access string insertion ports?
Thanks, my issue is the strings in the track of my Ikea shade came undone and I can't figure it out.
My utility bills more than double during the summer. Does your pool and/or heater significantly jack up your bills? And any recommendation on coil cleaner? I'm using coil cleaner for the furnace. Thanks
Yes it does. Throw a solar cover on if you not using it for a few days to keep costs done. I do that when I travel. It makes a big difference. Saves on chlorine burn off too. Good idea on the coil cleaner. Good luck!
Best video on this heater! Big thanks. I'm opening our above ground pool because I'm not paying for it to be done. The last 2 seasons, something was incorrectly or incompletely done and it's not cheap. Your step by step how to video is fantastic. I'm not done but so far so good. I have the same error code so I am now at the step of removing exchanger. The inside looks exactly like yours: debris, cobwebs, calcium buildup and rust. We just bought this thing 3 years ago and it already looks like hell. People who closed it did not winterize it, and put it in shed. Consequently, it's weathered. How do you winterize the heater? Clean it? Put it in shed in backyard? How to prevent the rust? Again, thanks for taking the time to make video. I'm in northern Ohio which has extreme temp changes during year. Let me get back to this task -- kids want to get in and don't want to hear my heat pump woes -- just get it done! lol
Glad you liked the video. To winterize it I just disconnect everything and a shop vac set to reverse with electrical tape to the inlet for 5 to 10 minutes to make sure it’s bone dry for the winter. A leaf blower would work to. Just make sure there isn’t any water. My heater is still running strong a year after this video. good luck.
I'm about to pick up some of this stuff myself so I appreciated the video. I actually have that same Skil grinder, too.
How do you take the wrinch off
How do you loosen it back up?
Great job. always good when you can save some money.
How on earth do I loosen it up when it's time to remove the cover?
Same. How ?
Yes how?
@@WilliamDaley-qt6jiuse a screwdriver to “flick the switch” piece. I will have to make another video. Good call out!
excellent, just what i needed ,since was just about to spend $700 on a new blind
🍀 😂 sooo cute!
Thank you so much for the thoro detailed information. 🫡
good explanation
Great demo! Thank you!
There was a time that if you called the customer service line at Hunter Douglas they would send out a restring kit which included a polyester cord
Where do you buy your gravestones? I’ve looked all over the last couple years and can only find foam ones. Yours look like they’re resin or thick plastic, is that right?
All of them are from the Home Depot over the years. A decent resin that they weight at the bottom. I like them. Happy Halloween!
🎃🖤
Thank you, sir!
What about the electrical plug? Did you leave that out in the grass when it rained?
it’s nice we appreciate it
You’re welcome! Glad it was useful!
Thanks, that was easy. 👍😃
I see you took a bit out of the window frame is this how it’s done right
Just what I needed today. Thanks!
