Running a small inverted welder on a generator off grid when the little generator decided to have issues.

Harbor freight metal hand pump used for water storage

harbor freight metal hand pump used on my 15 gallon water storage barrels. Pump works great but it does need taken apart and cleaned before using it for drinking water. I used cooking oil to lube the internals after it was cleaned. this makes it so much easier then trying to pour water from the jugs.

three 15 gallon blue water barrels will be used for water storage at the homestead. 45 gallons of water is not much when it comes to water storage bit they are easy to carry into the house for use. later on when larger tanks replace these small barrels they will be cut in half for feeders for animals.

These little 15 gallon blue number 2 barrels used to hold Dr. Pepper syrup. After running bleach water and then baking soda and water threw them I will use them as water storage on olfarmranch until living full time on the homestead. Thunderbolt 1.5 amp solar battery charger from harbor freight

This is a little solar battery charger from harbor freight. I use it to maintain a extra battery in the truck that powers a small power inverter. It has a quick connect wiring and alligator clips that come with it. Thunderbolt and harbor freight do sell additional attachments for it. I did modify the panel by cutting the wire that runs the little blue blinking led light. I watched a few youtube...

Older Coleman Powermate Pulse 1750. This is a fairly small generator but considering the tools I use with it I have not had any issues as of now. ?I purchased it from a friend for 50 bucks not working. How many hours on a tank of gas does it last?
roughly 9 hours, with being such a small generator it depends on how much load you are putting on it. I have run a heavier load on it from the converter of the camper and it I was able to run right at 5 hours on a tank.
Father has one he's had it since the early 90's and it still runs. looking for a new gas tank for it the threading at the cap is messed up so when you turn it on starts leaking gas from the cap. Can't seem to find the part since the company is no longer around
How do I change the spark plug in this?
Look at the hole on top of the gas tank, you will be able to remove coil wire and remove spark plug.
Is it drinking water safe??
Been working for us, have been using it for years. Periodic cleaning I do disassemble and apply more cooking oil to the seal. No rust, no chrome flakes. Will post video the next cleaning. I will say when I first got the pump before using with water, I did tear it down and clean all parts first. They have a light oil in them when you buy them.

125 for it is a good deal still, past any generator that runs for 125 is a good deal

Yeah, still running with no issues except the air cleaner cover broke...better to have one but it's been running a year without a cleaner...I just dump some seafoam in it about every third tank of gas or so.
Pumps for fuel
Yep for fuel... however in a pinch it was cleaned relubed and used for water for a year or so. Had no issues. Have upgraded but still have that little pump laying around somewhere.

Because its for fuel. Not water
It's not a pump for fuel, even states on package. It's used for an oil-based liquid. Motor oil, etc. You are correct I don't believe it was intended for water. Never promoted it as such, however it does and has worked for years for me. Still use it to this day. Sometimes when a need is should I say needed you use what you got and make it work. If maintained correctly zero issues as of now at least.
How did you change the plug? Hardly any clearance for a wrench
