Welcome to Clarkdale, our innovative and thriving community with a small town vibe! Located in north-central Arizona, Clarkdale was established in 1912 as a company town for the United Verde Copper Mine. Our original townsite, on the National Register of Historic Places, features a mix of historic Craftsman Bungalows, Mission-Style and Spanish-Revival homes, many restored or preserved by their owners.

Clarkdale Police Department Graffiti Abatement Program (GAP)

Officer Sean Guth of the Clarkdale AZ Police Department is leading the effort to coordinate a Graffiti Abatement Program. Beginning in December, 2016, volunteer members of GAP will work with the Police Department to eradicate graffiti in our community. I’m gonna be sad to see Patriot Disposal and this process go away.
I say Boo-Hoo for the Vietnam veterans. They allowed themselves to be sent to an illegal war that clearly had nothing to do with the US. They were essentially invaders and aggressors in someone else's country that did nothing to the US. The Draft was NO excuse...as I am a Vietnam/Draft resistor. They dodged a bullet from the people they wrongly tried to kill. Their Homecoming WAS coming back to the US ALIVE and able to have a 2nd chance at living their lives. They should have been a powerful influence on keeping the US out of other "Vietnams" like Somalia, Lebanon, Iraq and Afghanistan. They are too concerned with their legacy and place in history to put their experience to good for the country. They are not victims or heroes. They are survivors

Ha! Californians came out and were concerned that there were not recycle bins. Turns out everything goes through the recycle process, and we don't have to be pretentious about it! I hope the center is profitable and expands.
california's system is much more efficient. Far more gets recycled and no need to go thru toxic waste. Patriot only recycles 20% of all they collect. Not great.
