    Just as a note, your experiment has a flaw: you are not measuring the actual mechanical advantage. The reason for the worm to start rotation so late is that it is engaged in 'static friction'. Every time you add a weight, you should rotate the worm a nudge to free it from static friction. If it doesn't continue the rotation, then add another weight. This can be also stated as the reason that the mechanism suddenly falls at great speed instead of a steady rotation, because there is too much weight on the worm side to warrant an equilibrium under dynamic friction. The difference between the measured mechanical advantage vs. the speed ratio is just too high with your experience, and the efficiency of the system is around 7% which is not justifiable by any means.

    Hi, I'm an extremely visual learner. That being said I'm trying to visualize Christoffel symbol 'values'. So if I have a very messy curvilinear csys, how can I visually see or plot the coordinates of a derivative vector (one that represents the change in a given vector before and after being parallel transported an infinitetesimal distance dx. Should I... a) plot the coordinates of the derivative vector on the messy curvilinear csys (no idea how to do that) or b) plot the coordinates of the derivative vector on cartesian coordinate csys, aka known as the tangent plane...(I know how to do that). The issue is that a cartesian csys has a nice grid to count lengths of coordinates...but messy curvilinear cys is usually not represented as such (just four curvy lines. Where are my cury line grids!!! How do I make them. And, on the off chance that both of them are required, how do we size them such that they match? ie. If my cartesian csys has small grid units of one inch, but my messy curvy csys had them as one mile...you see what I mean. I feel like the metric tensor has something to do with matching them up.       The response time is the time during the car is still traveling at 44 ft/s, sot the total distance to come to a stop is putting final velocity in 2nd equation as zero and find the d, but the So is v*t that we need to add. So, for the 1st case 44*0.75 + 44^2÷(2*2) = 517.

    I'm trying to power a water pump with the turbine but it isn't working, is there a reason for this and a way to fix it. I'm trying to use the turbine to power the Arduino using the Vin pin, and the Arduino will power the pump and the pump will flow water back to turbine and so on.

      Seems like you are planning to make a perpetual machine. It could be that your major loss are high, how you are starting the turbine?

      @@MohammadShafinulHaque right now im just blowing air into it, becuase i need to find a hose adapter, this powers the arduino on and if i use a plug the arduino can power the pump; its going to start out with the pump pumpning water up into a series of containers, the water will flow down through the turbine before going back to the pumps water source, i wanted to test to see if the turbine would turn the pump on first before continuing. when testing the pump with a plug powering the arduino i used a capacitor to recover the power, would that work?

      @@_LKAT_ it seems the turbine is not generating enough for Arduino and pump both just by blowing. May need more water pressure to the turbine for higher rpm.

How much pressure was needed to power the arduino because I plan to use the turbine in a hydroponic system with water flowing from the plant container. I fear that this wouldn't provide enough pressure/water flow to generate enough power to power the pump and arduino
