Man 'Nothingface' was/is so underrated! I will ALWAYS and have ALWAYS stuck by that opinion! They were one of those rare bands that got better as they went on! I can't imagine what the album after 'Skeletons' would've been like had they done another. Then the absolutely devastating news hit that Matt Holt passed away! I seriously was stunned and everytime I listen to these guys, which is very often, I always go through the "what if" thoughts. I personally keep these guys on the edge of the 'Nu Metal' scene cuz I don't think they fit in it and it's unfair to label them as such just because of the time they came out. They just play some really good metal, no dj, no rapping (not saying there's anything wrong with that just giving examples that most nu metal bands seemed to use in their music), just good solid metal. Anyway I digress; ✝️✝️ R.I.P Matt Holt ✝️✝️ cuz man you are sorely missed brother!

It's surely sweet they made it out of respect to late Holt, but let's be honest- Smith botched up the song. P.S. Nothing personal, he is a very good and articulate singer with disctinctive way of conveying the heat, but NF's stuff defo isn't his thing.

Great tribute thank you! Nothingface is still one of my favorite bands ever. I got to meet Matt Holt once and smoked down with him. He was so cool. R.I.P.

Just found out that Matt passed. NF is one of my favorite bands ever! I 1st heard them on a freebee sampler that was given out at a show I attended. The song was Bleeder an I was like it’s ok. Then sometime after that, I picked up the tattoo the Earth cd that had live tracks from all of the bands on the tour. I listen to the Cd and then midway I hear this fucking awesome heavy song (Can’t Wait for Violence) that I’ve never heard b4. I’m like I recognize that voice. I look at the case of the cd and see that it’s NF. I’m like no way, that’s not NZ because the song I heard on the sampler (Bleeder) was no where near as heavy as Violence. I went back to Best Buy and bought their the album Violence, listened to it and was blown away sitting in my car with a WTF expression on my face because what I hear was so fucking awesome and no one was talking about this band. I was ready to fly out to anywhere they were playing st the time, but it just so happens that they were scheduled 2 play the Norva in Norfolk,VA where I was living at the time. The show wasn’t promoted very well and not a lot of people didn’t show up (maybe a little over a 100). This is one of the best shows I had ever seen. These guys were on point. After the show, I hung w/ Tom Holt and he took me back stage to hang. He was a really cool and down 2 earth guy off of the stage. Just thought I would share this with y’all. After buying Violence, I bought the whole catalog. Skeletons is fucking awesome. In fact, I’m about to listen to it now. To the rest of NF, thanks for the cool music and cool experiences. RIP Holt!!!

Metal has lost a great lyricist not just a great singer I always wanted them to make more music this made perfect sends why Matt bolt never made more so many years I was hoping he would but I understand now why he didn't still wish he was doing this instead of being dead

I'm so glad I got to see the show. nothingface and knives out both kicked ass. I miss going to NF shows.

Watching it for the 10th time....and i still get teary eyed. What an amazing thing to do in honor of Matt. Regardless of the breakup....they were once like brothers and shared so much together. Beautiful thing Tom, Bill and Tommy did to honor him. You can see and feel the emotion of them playing this for Matt. Miss him so much.

RIP Matt - my heart hurts for a vocalist that has meant so much to me over the past 15 years. but fuck Tom Maxwell. he obviously didn't give a shit about Matt. he did nothing but speak ill of him in the media while he was in a wheelchair and falling apart physically. kept blaming Matt for the breakup, when we all know it was just an excuse to get out and go do Hellyeah. disgusting.
