A 3lb sledge works great for any pulling like this (flywheels too.) Or just use an impact driver. That's often a last resort though.

For anyone working on a machine that's 16 years old fyi, you may have to beat it with a hammer to get it off

Or use the grease zerk and a grease gun to push it out ( if the stud is intact ) haven't had one without the stud, if no stud is present I would weld a bolt and do it this way

I've got a 360 identical to this one I've had for 3 years I've beat the ever living shit out if it trying to blow the motor up on it. Couldn't get it to blow up. Then I let it sit in the yard for about 3 months cause the carb was messed up amd I was working a lot of overtime and didn't have time to mess with it and damn water got in it so now I'm tearing it all the way apart cleaning everything up and replacing the piston and rings even though the piston wasnt in bad shape at all matter of fact it still looks damn near brand new but the rings are stuck so I'm just gonna replace it. But man I couldn't believe how good of shape this thing is in. I mean I held it on the revlimitter all the time man and it never smoked or anything no ticks nothing. Only noise it made was from the clutch which they all do that but yeah man them 360 praries are indestructible as long as you keep up the maintenance on them. Hell I never changed the oil I just added oil. But I was also running pennzoil platinum in it too so that's probably one reason it survived all that revlimitter Lmao

I hit it with the hammer and the clutch popped with the belt loose but when I pull off the puller the clutch still stuck in there . I hit it with a electric impact drill thing and nothing should I try to get a air impact drill ?

Thank you! I didn't want to over tighten the puller (seemed too hard) a couple of taps with the hammer like you recommended worked like a charm! a little common sense goes a long way. Have a great day!

I changed the front A arm bushings on my 2002 Polaris sportsman 400 but when trying to reassemble to ball joint they wouldn't fit. I broke 2 ball joints with a hammer trying to beat them in. They liked a inch. What did I need to take loose to make this line up properly. Someone knows the answer. Please help me out. Send me info at stargazer11mr@outlook.com. lm Mike.
