Others might say that their so called 'unluckiness' is likely the will of the planes balancing their power. Despite their unparalleled intellect and psionic might, their actions often lead to ruin-perhaps a cosmic lesson that no power goes unchecked. Mind flayers may control minds, but they cannot control fate itself.
