    It is sad that such a preparation ended so quickly. It is understandable that playing tennis for Radionov is a job and maybe the trip was somehow covered by the income from first round loss, however from psychological point of view the start of a season is not encouraging..

    Hi, a big hug from Chile. Been following your videos for a while and don't know if you ever said your name. I'm guessing you're Gilbert Schaller, but I'm not sure, if you can clear it up, please. When we followed the career of Marcelo Rios, I remember he was a dangerous player. And a second question: didnt see Matej Dodig in the recap of the year. Is he no longer working with your team. Again, love from Chile!

Greetings to you and to your beautiful country Chile.

    Gerade als Hobbyspieler ist es auch nicht gerade einfach einen Trainer zu finden. Meistens hat man das Gefühl, dass die Ambitionen, aber auch tennisbezogenen Probleme von erwachsenen Spielern nicht wirklich ernst genommen werden. zB. Beinarbeit, Fitness Tipps, ... kommen auch dann nur sehr zäh, wenn man selbst die Thematik anspricht. Besonders schwierig scheint es dann zu werden, wenn ein erwachsener Spieler wie ich plötzlich vor Problemen steht, die der (vielleicht ehemalige Turnierspieler und jetzt) Coach nicht versteht, weil er selbst von klein auf spielte und diese Schwierigkeiten uU. nie hatte. In meinem Fall ist es zB der Aufschlag, was ich da schon alles gehört und versucht habe...mein Aufschlag ist aber weiterhin unbrauchbar für Matches ;))! Ein guter Tennis Coach muss enorm viel wissen und können - ich habe großen Respekt vor einer schier unendlichen und sehr breit gefächerten Palette an Skills, die so jemand haben muss. Dank UA-cam (und sicher auch im echten Leben, wenn man nur lange genug sucht....) findet man aber auch die Kehrseite, nämlich Coaches, die ihren Beruf leben und auch im Hobbybereich des Tennissports echt gute Arbeit machen und versuchen ganzheitlich zu lehren. Wie immer tolle Infos und Einblicke in den Umfang eures Trainings im Video, danke Dir dafür. Soll kein Bashing der Tennislehrer Riege im Hobbybereich sein, nur mein Eindruck durch persönliche Erfahrung.

    Perhaps a good coach is also a former (or current) player. I think you mentioned once that a player who had gained some coaching experience seemed to be transformed into a more receptive player. That all makes sense. It would be interesting to observe what specific training program your players receive, such as how much time is spent on fitness, and what kind of fitness. Or what attention is given to technique, how it is analyzed, and how changes are made. And then, how tactics are evaluated and trained. Thank you for continuing to share the journeys of your players (and coaches) with us.

    • @BetweenTheFencesTennisEdition
      @BetweenTheFencesTennisEdition Місяць тому

      A former player can become a very good coach, but there is still a way to go. There are enough examples that have proven this. Of course, every player has their own technical requirements and individual specifications. The practice times are also individually adjusted, so perhaps there will be time to go into more detail about each individual player.
