@4:35 please tell me what song you played there what would that information be worth are you into antique and building furniture?

I have the same instrument--the newspaper says "Connecticut" @ 0:14 so I think it's from Zuckermann Harpsichords, in Stonington. I had to have it professionally strung and regulated since unlike a harpsichord, the tuning pins are very close together and it's difficult to get the string wrapped around correctly. Also, you have to bend the tangents into the correct position. Playing the clavichord improves your technique because you have to keep your fingers curled otherwise you can't hit the accidentals. Great sound!

Very nice! My father and I built a kit clavichord around 1982. It was quite an adventure as the instructions were hand typed and didn't have many illustrations! It's still had my parents' house and sounds wonderful. I hope this will be with you for a long time!

こんにちは、初めまして。大変興味深く、何度も拝見いたしました。 私はピアノが弾けませんが、つづいて外国の小さなクラビノーバの演奏をいくつも観ました。 実は若い頃に鈴木バイオリンにおりまして、50歳の時に師匠に再会してヴァイオリンとビオラを作りました。 当時は週１制作に回すことができましたが、今は全く時間的に余裕がありません。 レッスンは受けていますが、練習時間が全く足りません。 現在73歳ですがもう少し仕事を続けます。クラビコード作りたいです。 また、動画を観させてください。
