Are my Oakley holbrooks real?
See my whole collection on my new channel
ua-cam.com/video/A7Sz2t-jvDo/v-deo.html
These have been confirmed as real. I own a (store bought real) pair and have been able to compare side by side and can safely say that they are identical in every detail including weight (by a scale). At Oakley vault stores you can but custom frame lens combos which don't have the writing on the frame. These were also bought at a time before many fakes were even on the market. The sound from the arm was due to a small amount of dirt stuck in there.
thanks for the input

They are fake
They shouldn't squeak, maybe that's why the first guy didn't want them.
You probably know this by now .but Oakley box should have a white sticker with sku model and all descriptions.
Those are fake
no serial number fake
Real
If the lens coating will peel off after quite sometime, it is surely an original Oakley 🤣
Not bad for the fakes
Fake
I'm gonna say there are real. I've never come across a clone that had the L1 R2 on the hinges of the arms
I bought mine from sunglasses hut and they don’t have that
I am casting my vote for team "legit" as I have owned multiple pairs...real and replica... in the past year that looked identical in ALMOST every way...except those little details in around the hinges. No matter how good the replica, I've yet to see one with L1 and R1 moulded into the hinges. Also, if you still aren't sure, pop the logo out, the real ones aren't just solid metal, they actually are layers of both polymer and metal. The adhesive in real ones does hold tight, but usually is still sticky enough to hold the logo in place when you re-apply. Run the logo under hot water to heat up the glue and it will come out with no trouble.
This IS fake
Their legit
I would be concerned buying fake brands, especially when they can impact your health, like buying fake branded brakes for your bike that could potentially kill you or buying fake sunglasses that can damage your retina. I would never buy sunglasses that are known to have knock offs from some online store or market.. If you want legit ones, buy them from a proper store that is endorsed by oakley to be safe.
glad u got ripped off. ooooout
Holbrook frames are not metal and they don't squeak when they open
Sorry to inform you that these are as fake as can be. I've worked for Oakley in AZ for years and we see these all the time. Many oakley models are stamped "made in USA CE" and many aren't. Holbrook models are one of those that DO NOT have that stamp. The Holbrook inner forearms will say Holbrook on the left forearm and also have a combination of numbers which represent the size, and the right inner forearm will remain blank. Holbrooks do not have a made in USA stamp. That's the Chinese knockoffs trying to fool you. They will also never say polarized on the lenses, regardless of whether or not they are. Hope this helps and sorry you got jipped. They look pretty legit though I will give you that. They also don't come with a hard case. You get an Oakley brand sleeve and a microfiber cleaning towel. I can post pics of both legit and fake holbrooks if it helps. I've got about a dozen of each. Even I got fooled on a trade on some fakes. Same size, weight, and markings. But when you work for the company and you dissect them, it becomes much more apparent. Much love.
mine is the same of the video plus a gold signature (l can't read what it says) followed by the model number oo9102-02 55o18 and also have 'polarized' on lens there are no clicks and yeah the logo is raised but l believe it's fake once the -02 supposed to be polished not matte black right? probably a premium fake version l mean there are crappy fake out there too
yes please picture will be really appreciate :) before i buy one please :)
mine is fake, the authentic has shaun white signature and the model number 9102-17 (both white color) plus the oakley logo is metal gold l already ordered an authentic 9102-02 polished for 459bucks, the fake ones l ordered before were 89. good luck
www.cafr.ebay.ca/itm/252475054180 im looking for this pair but i dont trust it. the scratch on frame lens look like grey and suppose to be black matte. dont have made in usa( but u said no made in usa on holbrook) and it have polarized on the lens.
just got the newest holbrooks from a legitimate store and they do say polarized on the lease so your comment is untrue
enyone here saying that these are fakes is a complete idiot and dont know anything about oakleys
wtf... you are
rafael munoz oakleys do NOT make noises like that when you open the arms. They do seem legit and I'd agree if I never heard him open them. I have few pairs of oakleys and none are tight to the point the make noise like that.
They are legit, FYI, not all authentic Oakley sunglasses are made in the USA. The best way to find out if your glasses are legit is to take them to a sunglass hut and compare it with the display model. Look at the details in the hinges and the o icon. The o icon should be raised w/ with a different color other than the frame. All these foo's that say ur glasses are fake, they dont know shit and probably have never owned a pair of oakleys. "So don't say shit if you dont know shit."
tien4949
Definitely fake!!!
custom pairs don't have serial numbers
they are super fake! i had the same pair and theyre not supposed to snap open or squeak. i knew by looking at them
They are real, real Oakley glasses don't have white serial numbers, if anywhere they are on the papperwork, box, or price tag.
sneakerology They actually have. It's the custom ones (like the one he has) that don't come with a white serial/model number. But yeah, I agree with you it's the real thing.
go to aliexpress.com and you'll find these exact ones. i have the real pair and they are nothing alike
Man some of you guys have no clue! Oakleys have white numbers inside the temple unless they are custom. If you don't have any idea don't give advice
Fake, they should not squeak like that when the leg is opened!
+K.D. Patton hahaha! krekk krekkk!
Hahaha! I laughed at that part. They're certainly not real, and I'll elaborate in another comment.
Hahaha leg
i found a pair of authentic holbrooks walkign down the sidewalk with a minor scratch on right lense
Counterfeit Holbrooks do not have a unique serial number on them. If yours appears to not have a serial number, they are fake.
Update: I did this mod and it seems to work great. I got lag bolts 1/4 inch in diameter and 1 and 1/2 inch in length, but they were about a 1/4 inch too long, so I had to saw them down. You can get these parts at Lowe's or Home Depot for $1 rather than spending $2 every time a pin breaks. Just make sure you bring a couple wrenches to the field if you plan to do any maintenance there.
I've had my A5 for a while and just recently learned how to disassemble and clean it. When I did, I realized that my pins in the back plate were both broken and it was a pain to take them out. After replacing them, I played for half a day before I noticed that the new pins were broken as well. I don't know why some people have issues with the pins and others don't, but I'll definitely try using the bolts. Thanks!
dude don't buy it anywhere but autorized sellers......so easy to fake sunglasses but i have no idea if these are fake or not
They're real. Custom oakleys don't have model numbers. Awesome choice!
They are fake but a good quality pair of fake holbrooks,i have the same pair which i got for $22!
Those are definitely authentic Oakley glasses. . I just bought some customs made Holbrook from Oakley.com and the custom glasses don't come with serial number .. dont listen to these fuck tards .. they never bought customs made Oakley glasses. .
THEY ARE FAKE! Sorry, James, you're an idiot; you're just an idiot who bought a pair of Custom Oakley's, so you claim. I am a collector and have owned Oakley for more than the last 18 years. I own many pair of Custom Oakley's, because almost every pair I get are from the Custom program. The Oakley's in this video are certainly fake. First of all, the material real Oakley's are made from will not allow them to make that screeching sound. Most obvious is the "Made in USA" stamp. It has been widely publicized that the best way to verify real Oakley's is by that stamp being present. However, the Holbrooks were never made in the USA, they never have that stamp, and likewise no pair I own, Custom or not, have that embossed stamp. Also, the embossed stamps are much crisper on genuine Oakley's, and the "O" at the rear of the stems should be more of a crisper mold and more subdued. It is one of those things where the fakes look very clean and crisp -- till you compare them to a GENUINE pair. Another issue is there is no indent on the back of the nose bridge, as you would find on any genuine pair. The indent should be completely concave, not just a curvature, as with these. Another thing is the "O" icon on the side should be ferrous metal, whereas a magnet will be attracted to it. Fakes often go with a cheaper material suck as painted plastic or aluminum. That's just one more thing to consider, but these glasses should not fail a single one of the "tests" I just mentioned, and if I took the time to really inspect the more subtle details, I'm sure I could find more inconsistencies. These are certainly FAKE. Sorry. Don't go around pontificating and insulting other people when you have no clue what you're talking about. You're misleading other people into making the same mistake as this guy in the video.
Real
I just bought some customized Oakleys from the store. They are Jade iridium and do not have a serial number. All they have is the engraved "holbrook", and the "ce" and thats it. And I know for a fact they are real a because I went to the actual Oakley store. These seem real but go to the actual store or send pics to Oakley themselves.
Everyone who is saying they are fake are wrong. there are no model numbers for custom oakleys because its not an original design. They are authentic,100%
Yes! your holbrook is 100% Authentic. Custom made holbrook dont have serial #. You can either custom made them online or on any oakley O store...now go out and enjoy the summer.
100% real. Enjoy your sunglasses.
Idk
They are 100 percent real. Many Oakleys have come without a model #. And if they are custom, they definitely don't come with one!
Fake. Just bought a Real pair of Holbrooks and there is a model # on inside of left arm.
lol.......Bad Fakes too! :). No model #...no Oakley! lol
not talking shit but mine looks better:) i had a idea to do this with my speedball gunit looks sick
Good lord

... ... ...
They are real, there just custom.
They are real. Since they are custom, and not mass produced, there isn't a model number.
My holbrooks have the model number but not the made in America ?
I think it doesn't have a model number because its a custom pair, as stated on the box it came with. Just guessing though.
i've come to this conclusion with fake oakleys, if you can't tell the difference (wich most people can't) then who the fuck cares :) they look the same anyway
