What Makes a Good IP Themed Attraction? Exploring IPs at UK Theme Parks
Intellectual property based attractions are common throughout theme parks around the world, but in UK theme parks, they IP is often hit or miss. We have seen many obscure attractions like this in the past, but very few have lasted more than a few seasons.
In this video I'll be looking at different IP based attractions in the UK and why they were/ were not successful.

I kinda wish you'd lingered on some topics longer. Like a talk through of what happened on the rides (especially defunct ones) or what flavoured sodas were sold that had the professpr burps branding and examples of what they looked like. Good video in general though, just wanted to hear you talk a bit more.

The Roepers sound like a couple of knobs.
what i think makes a good ip themed ride is the theming. the more there is of it, the more you feel immersed into the world and have the feeling and sensation that you’re actually there take for example, practically every disney ride. the theming is on a different level and it seems that the animatronics are in the room with you as actual beings. but in my opinion, it seems that the UK is more focused into having lands dedicated to young children so they can have a bit of the fun.

I’ve heard rumours of bats so I did some digging. On Theme Park Guide’s website there is a short article on the “Bat Cave” open 1990-2013 being burnt down with the Creaky Cafe incident. The article isn’t too clear if the bats in there were real or just models so I dug further and looked on Zootierliste a German Zoo database that is semi accurate and Chessington is listed as a former holder of Egyptian Fruit Bats however the dates they had them from and until are missing sadly. So it’s highly likely there were bats near the Vampire ride but I don’t think they were in the maze. I’d curious if anyone else knows or can find out more?

The park actually does have a record, the fastest accelerating in the world which is stealth
Reverchon already have an inverted Wild Mouse. They built 2 that are touring Europe fairs called Ala Delta and €uro Coaster.
They also made a spinning wild mouse with a launched lift
