El Nido Palawan Miniloc Island Resort
Trip to el Nido Palawan Miniloc Island resort, July 2024.
Easily one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. The resort is just amazing. The service and the staff are bar none.

One thing I’d like to mention- The native Aetas still actually live there and they go about their daily lives. They have vegetable gardens near the trail so please tread lightly. Some have things and snacks to sell.

Thank you. Our jeep didn’t have much of a suspension. 😂 I would love to drive my jeep there. Elevation gain? Not sure, probably less than a thousand meters. It’s was an easy climb. The steepest parts are actual stairs- one just before the view deck and the other are the stairs to the beach/lake itself. They’re not long at all. The hike is very easy.

Loved it! That jeep tour did look like a bumpy ride! And talk about being one with nature during that hike. What was the elevation gain? Was it really steep? But you can't beat that view as a reward though. The crater looks beautiful. I just hope Pinatubo doesn't erupt again. Glad you guys had fun!

Jun, what was your impression of the exhibit?

    • @rjcats
      @rjcats Рік тому

I really liked it, Ed. I actually wished that the main presentation was longer. I wanted to see more. Lol The only downside- it was freezing in there! It was a 50degree evening and it was colder inside. But we really enjoyed it.

Jun good morning, I just bought a CX4 and would like you to give me some setup tips. Could you make a setup video of your CX4? It will help me a lot in the filming and retake of launch. I want to learn this perfect launch retake that you do! Hug.

Watch the lower right, don't know what it is but at first I thought it was a piece of thrash indicating the the thermal had moved off to camera right. Maybe Jun can watch the original and let us know. I'm just getting back into RC and flew HLG in the 90s. Jun launch is going to be the form I will strive for. Thanks for the video...

Sorry about this stupid question, but is it possible to set a launch preset on an FF9 Super transmitter? I usually just launch in speed mode.

Hi, Carlos. I fly the Futaba 10C. It's an older radio... I'd recommend the newer Futaba radios: 8FG or the 14 SG. I can't wait to get the 14SG...

Hi Jun, i just love this vid, so kool, you may remember me from rcgroups and the alula thread, anyhow i got my first DLG a week ago, and I did the maiden today, totally awesome. If you get a chance you can check it out on my channel. Thanks for all your advice in the past, it really paid off. D

@jasonfriedman1 Yes. I'm in speed mode on final approach and when I catch. Once I grab the wing tip I switch on the Launch preset (Slight camber and up elevator). Once I release the preset- it goes back to speed mode.

Thanks for this. Awaiting my first DLG, a Taboo GT and was wondering about throws and what launch preset throws looks like. I also read the Taboos don't need reflex so I'm going to play with it and see if thats the case. Can't wait to fly it.

@RagingRoel Thanks! I think they all pretty much launch the same. The one thing I noticed with the Stobel-- It seems to get ahead of me. I had to try to launch a little early just to keep it from hooking to the left. The Blaster 3 is a great plane! I want one! LOL!

  • @rjcats

@ShoGinn LOL! I tried to keep the plane in the frame but that would mean losing the thermal... oh well. lol. The flight would've been longer if I drifted with the thermal, too. Love it tho, dude. This is usually what I do during flying sessions. Specking out bores me.

  • @ScottGinn
