People whom are criticizing this: mind that the PoP community has been ongoing since 1990 and, a bit similar like DOOM (Zero Master exploiting void glides for speedruns) are still finding new physics bugs in this otherwise solid engine. I'll agree it is a bit dull to watch (levels aren't exactly state of the art) but the situations at 1:18 "lets swap places it's safe I swear!", 2:25 "what mural" and 7:47 "Fat Neo there is no wall" are all acknowledged engine bugs and frankly quite funny to see played out in front of you.

"What is not broken in the original Prince of Persia?" "No." Always amazes me seeing these runs, I know speedrunning is practice practice practice, but given the Prince's meticulous movement, these runs are literal tenths away from failures. It's similar in other games, but for its relatively short length this game is brutal.

Why do people insist on making these things look like they're made of glitches? It's like every one of them has to be random guesses or weird bug exploits, and the graphics are all ugly stuff like gates with no solid tiles above them. Is it not possible to make a decent Prince level with just some nice graphics and fun gameplay?
