Realtalk, I fucking hate the manga ending of Kevin vs. Mantaro. El Nino was an absolute dogshit second to Mantaro, who tells him not to use the Muscle Millenium, and in the final stretches of the fight just stands around doing nothing. He provides no alternative strategies for Mantaro to use to win, and there's no guarantee that the MM would work when El Nino would tell Mantaro to use it. Then there's Kevin's conduct in general. After the fight Kevin acts like he actually still respected Mantaro massively and it's all water under the bridge, but the motherfucker tried to force Mantarou to commit suicide in the middle of the match just as a cheap way to win. This never gets brought up again in the rest of Kinnikuman Nisei, nevermind there's the fact that Kevin has absolutely fucking ridiculous plot armor in his own right.

Yes, the manga is better for making Kelvin mask the champion, and yes I root for him to win for the match and redemp himself as a Justice hero. I wouldn't say the the change is anime is bad, I do understand the due to this be the last match, the favor for victory will be for the nain character. Still , I prefer that Mantaro lost the match, become best Buddy with Kelvin, and learn a lesson from the match. This is character grown that I like to see.

Which is the more Canon ending the manga or the anime I really hope it's the manga because I really believe Kevin mask has every right to win this match due to all his hard work while kid muscle always seems to win just by luck and plot armor

2:59 imagine reading the manga then being shocked by this ending. To be fair, both the manga and the anime are alternate timelines of the Ultimate Muscle story. Apparently, the author of the ultimate muscle manga approved of the anime story's conclusion, which means this reimagination of the Kid vs Kevin story arc is pretty much canon to the overall story with just a different alternate twist. Just because the hero's (Kid Muscle) story is slightly altered in a climatic event does not change the overall narrative of the story's message. What seemed to be most important in the end, was for both Kid and Kevin to developed a newfound respect for each other, which would end their family feud via Kevin's mask self-refurbished, which apparently occurred in both the anime and manga story. Since both the manga and anime story dont divulge from this. Apparently, the point of the Kid vs Kevin story arc, was for both wrestlers to develop a respect for each other and end their family's fued. It didn;t matter who won or lost, since what mattered the most was that both kid and kevin learned to respect each other and become better wrestlers, which both the anime and manga continuity illustrated. I think that's the point the author wanted to get across as the actual canon conclusion to the Kid vs Kevin story arc.

Thanks to Hugo Weaving's Megatron Frank Welker now makes his Megatron voice much deeper n more vicious than his g1 voice. No offense to g1 fans, i love the og show that started it all, but since the movies came out Megatron has much deeper voice than before, n it fits the character so well.
