would you have any advice for a bushhog tedder that takes 2 windrows and just about puts them into one....ours takes 2 from a 9' discbine and always peaks the 2 into almost one. We play with the rpms all the time and it doesn't really solve the problem.

I bought a 2012-2013? KRONE CV150XC about 5 years ago and noticed that the previous owner had left the bale chamber pressurized. I don’t know for sure but the system could’ve been under pressure for years. The last couple of years I’ve noticed that if I’ve got the unit running for a duration of time after finishing the windrow, the bale chamber sensor will start going off telling me the chamber is not latched. It’s much worse this year, I hardly can get to the next window before It starts telling me the chamber is not latched and that in turn stalls the bale wrapper if it is wrapping while the bale chamber warning is going off. My question, is the chamber latch mechanism hydraulically operated and held? If so, is it possible that The valve that creates pressure for the bale chamber is no longer keeping constant pressure and allowing bleed off? If I am correct in all of this, what part number do I need to order to get a new valve? Please text/call if possible Jim 425 268 7961

Hi, I have this krone tedder model but I am having a problem with the hydraulic jacks with the accumulator. There may be a gas charge problem in the accumulator or something else. Hydraulic jack is working in one direction only opening as the tedder gets down but not coming up. Kindly guide me.

I don’t believe that’s how it works on a variable chamber Baler. I’ve got a Fortima V180 And it’s been my experience that the setting for the size of the bale is just an alarm and netting sequence marker. pressure is set manually by getting off the tractor and adjusting the hydraulic pressure valve. I guess it’s possible that the Comprima model works differently.

I have a 2005 John Deere 7920 with the IVT transmission of course. Would my tractor have to be ISOBUS 3 in order to be controlled by the Baler? I plan on buying a Krone cv150 baler wrapper

In the brochure krone describe being able to swap between spread and swarthing by changing the direction in which the discs turn. Is this something that comes preset from the factory or is it possible to change after purchase.

We have one of these. It is 1 yrs and a few months old. We CANNOT keep it running. Burns clutches like none other. We bought this new so we didn't have to work on a used one all the time. WHAT A JOKE! On us!

The title is somewhat misleading, this baler is a Krone BP870 HDP MultiBale which has the capability to make High Density Pressed bales that are very dense. That is probably the reason that the twine that goes around the flakes of the small bale, seem kind of loose; the full bale is still tightly compressed by the 2 outside and the 1 center string. When those full bale strings are cut, the bale will decompress some and the small bale strings will tighten up. It was not mentioned what the full bale weights are, but the small bales, the way this one is setup making 7 small bales, will be 1/7 of the large bale weight. The small bales here are about 14 inches thick, so that would be somewhere between 4 to 7 flakes in each small bale.

And about half the price so you could have 2 going which would mean getting more done so it’s hard to say what’s the better buy
