Hi, if the Lord wills it do you mind making a video on reading the Bible while praying in tongues? I recently started this. I'd read the Bible in my mind while speaking tongjes out loud. Within a few sentences, suddenly, the whole chapter would sound like God speaking directly to me, telling me to repeat certain words until i perceive the message intended, deeper revelations. Sometimes, i would end up singing while reading and find myself sitting on the floor with the Bible because of how much in awe I am of what He is telling me in specific.

Question: is this done with full concentration, or can be done while doing other things at the same time?

Wake up in the night or early morning to pray is powerful. The enemy will come with the lie that you should not interrupt your sleep as you need rest. But if you interrupt your sleep with devoted and persistent prayers, it will shift things in the Spirit and by that also in the natural. You will have more energy during the day for instance then when you slept the whole night. It is also good to put a lifestyle of prayers. Create good spiritual habbits. Otherwise the time will probably be consumed by bad habits. Our time is precious, the Lord will not force us to do this or that but He gave us the key and responsibility to respond.

Maybe a bit offtopic, but I have a little testimony. Years ago I suddenly decided to worship and pray/sing in the Spirit. That was a good move, so God could step in. I experienced a radical shift in my mood and I become very joyful in nearly 2 minutes. The Spirit took over basically, but very fast. Then I went with that fire to the shower. My mom, who is not saved yet, allowed me to go first. In the shower I gave the Lord praise and thanksgiving and it felt like I could handle everything, so much strength and power. I whispered my tongues but they were deep from my belly. I had to whisper because otherwise it would be like me shouting through a megaphone. And it would not make any sense to any person. After I left the shower my mom went. Then later she asked me... 'son, did you call me?' I said, no I did not. And I saw a big question mark above her head. She replied: 'strange, I heard your voice calling me. But you said my first name. And I would not expect that from you'. I said, 'no I did not call you and indeed I would at least call you mom'. I did not realised what happened that moment but afterwards I could understand. The glory of God was there as I experienced it. My mom was just called by God! I learned also that I can trust God that He will do anything that my family will be saved. And that the only thing I should do is pray, and believe. I should not try to convince my mom but display the love of God towards her and let God convince here to open her heart for the truth.

Hi I was wondering do you pray in tongues and then it changes to singing and also humming? Have you ever hummed in the spirit? Also after praying have you ever experienced sharp intakes of breath that are supernatural

This is good teaching. We're else are tips and encouragement to pray in the spirit on a daily basis.? Which is vitaly important.

How long many years have you prayed in tongues

Good morning. How many hours do you mean as praying in tongues for long?

That is true. I know of a sister who used to lead choir in one church but that church used to love to be so organised and follow it's program. This is dangerous because the Holy Spirit never gets to express Himself fully when our timetabled programs supersede His leading. Everytime the sister starts to lead, she would be taken over by the Spirit and get to lead as the Spirid leads her e.g worshiping in tongues etc. This didn't go down well with the leadership. They kicked her our of church and she found another church which was more open to the leading of the Spirit and they would worship as the Spirit led them without a time-tabled program.

So true,

Some of us have to work for 8 hours a day. Have other responsibilities. I'd like to know who has time to sit and pray for 8 hours. Anyway, my question is, must the 8 hours be straight, or can it be broken up throughout the day.

I do shake ( my body) sometimes maybe in an event, when listening to worship songs and also praying. I have been experiencing this from childhood, You just cleared my curiosity. Do you also experience this too sir

I just started singing in tonguez! How i got to it was the Spirit kept opening my mouth and slowly "removing" the syllables until i was just exhaling air... then i felt my throat move until i was making sounds that went with the breath
