Hello, sorry for the extended delay. While it is some incredible diving and there are neat rock formations and "swim throughs" that make it a very fun place to dive. I would say that I have been to a few places since this was filmed that I enjoyed more. Specifically, Bonaire. It's a small Dutch Caribbean island just north of Venezuela. The ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao). Basically the entire island of Bonaire is dedicated to scuba divers and kite surfers. The water is warm and visibility is excellent year round. The majority of the dive sites (about 80 around the island) are all accessible from the shore, meaning you don't need to set foot on a boat. Divers here are also permitted to dive without an instructor, so just you and a buddy can dive freely around the island. I have a number of videos from Bonaire on my UA-cam channel! I'm actually back in Puerto Vallarta now and just dove at Marietas islands a few weeks ago, I'll be putting another video together soon. There is some coral, but not the most I have ever seen. However, there are many rock formations at this dive site.

Hey Kyle, Gordon Rocks is certainly one of the most popular dive sites when diving from Puerto Ayora, however it was not my favorite dive in the Galápagos simply because the visibility wasn't the greatest (especially at distance when we encountered the hammer heads). My personal favorite dives were at Santa Fe and Seymour. They were both more pleasurable dives in my opinion, due to the better visibility, less current and greater diversity. So unless Hammer Heads are a top priority, I would recommend one of the other two sites.

Thank you Martin! You're right, the clip at the beginning (above surface) was from Bachelor's Beach, but the underwater content is from Pink Beach. Somehow the clips got mixed up while editing.

Hey thanks, yes it is the kit lens. Depth on this dive was between 30 and 45 feet. I used a red lens, with minor editing in iMovie.

Thanks. I have an A6000 and I've been looking at the Meikon housings for a future trip. I am just nervous about salt water and white balance issue, however your color look pretty for 40 ft and no lights.

I've been very happy with the color and video quality from this camera underwater. I've used it on about 15 dives so far in both salt water and fresh water with depths up to 75-80ft. I looked up the Meikon housing you mentioned and it looks identical to the Neewer housing I have (which is actually about $65 cheaper on Amazon (at least in my country)).
