Not only that I love railfaning trains in general, but I do love to capture some incredible shots of them as well! Therefore, I consider it as a hobby.

I went to a baseball game on a Tuesday evening, at just so happened to get this BNSF warbonnet which was out and about throughout downtown Springfield, Missouri. It also was moving some cars around along with a "slug" (what I call it, someone please correct me if I'm wrong). So it was pretty cool getting to see it. Thanks for watching! Running my HO model train set!
Переглядів 273 місяці тому
When I was younger, my dad go me my first ever model train for Christmas one year. It was a Thomas The Tank Engine* set. Then, I got this one later on. To me, it was the one of the greatest that I ever had. Fast forward just a few years; after I got to see some other model railroads, I felt like I wanted build one as well. So, here's a basic train layout that I built for temporarily reasons; bu...

That’s exactly how I remember my one and only ride on the Frisco Silverdollar city line. Engine 43 pulling the old train set I remember sitting in the very front seat behind the engine and I remember looking through the window and seeing the back of 43’s cab
The Frisco Long Bell 3 chime was my favorite whistle.
Nice! I have a similar train but it's UP instead of ATSF.
Nice it looks like my layout to
Thanks! Yeah, I can imagine that your layout.
Excellent shot. Like !
7001 still has MILW stickers I put on for its final trips on Tacoma Rail

No, this was taken last fall!
@@RR_RailfanAdventures43 yeah after watching the video I noticed that it was from fall

I sincerely hope that the Alco locomotives aren’t getting replaced as a lover of Alco locomotives knowing that this railroad is dedicated to running these classic diesel locomotives I just hope that they’re going to continue to operate for many years to come
I wouldn't think so. But if they are or going to, we would already hear it from them (the railroad) or at least we'd probably heard something about it by now!
@@RR_RailfanAdventures43 you’re probably right that everything’s fine I think the SD70 Locomotives are there to pull the heavier longer Trains what I love about that crossing that you shot it it got something that’s very rare on a railroad a union switch and signal company teardrop crossing bell the holy Grail of crossing bells and probably the most expensive one to obtain in a private collection
@@TexasRailfan21-RailfanRyan true! I guess it's something that you don't get to see much of anymore, mainly because almost every crossing nowadays have gates that lower when a train is approaching!
@@RR_RailfanAdventures43 very cool I live 30 minutes from a place where you can see teardrop bells in operation North Central Texas is home to the worlds first Six Flags theme park Six Flags over Texas created by Angus Wade Junior this park has to a steam powered train which is historically the last original attraction from the Park’s open season of 1961 all the crossings have gate signals with teardrop crossing bells and some of them have wooden A-frame wishbone type gates the video link is a video I filmed on January 1, 2019 this crossing has a wigwag signal that is in full working order. This video is also a memory as eventually the A-frame gates were replaced with fiberglass pedestrian type gates due to deterioration and the wood of the original gates ua-cam.com/video/ehIuft9AA1s/v-deo.htmlsi=vkbvA94lDMLSBwef
@@RR_RailfanAdventures43 Hold the camera still, otherwise good video
Nice
Thanks!
I still wish that I was there at that time
is that a porter?
Which engine are you referring to?
Incredible, i just subscribed!
Very cool.
76 looks great with the modern style headlight mounted as well as pulling the older coach set the exact train set I rode as a kid interestingly enough when I rode the train it was pulled by number 43 and she was wearing the exact same headlight that 76 has in this video as well as the Santa Fe 6 chime whistle
Nice
